Confined Space-5 day

This Course is designed to meet the training demands of 29 CFR 1910.146(k) and NFPA 1670.24. Intensive classroom and

field instruction insures that your facility’s confined space team will be proficient in the basic skills needed to safely and effi-

ciently perform entry rescues in your workplace. Topics covered in the program include assessment of confined space hazards,

atmospheric monitoring, confined space rescue equipment use and limitations, knots, vertical and horizontal hauling, lowering

systems, personal protective equipment and patient packaging. Gain the knowledge and skills to instruct a confined space en-

try class within your organization. The course will cover advanced confined space issues, teaching, resources, instructional

methodology. Students will be required to develop and give a 30-60 minute presentation.

SOLAR POWER-5 DAY

Solar is a growing sector for green energy and

green jobs. Various worker health and safety haz-

ards exist in the manufacture, installation, and

maintenance of solar energy. Employers working

in the solar energy business need to protect their

workers from workplace hazards and workers need

to understand how to protect themselves from

hazards.

This 4.5 day class is designed for project managers,

supervisors, safety and health professionals and

others who work in this environment. We will pro-

vide you with in depth awareness training on the

top construction hazards and introduce OSHA

standards, policies, and safe work procedures.

Students will receive a 30-hour OSHA Con-

struction Card. Students will be required to

Oil and Gas Drilling & Well Servicing Safety

4 Day

This Course presents occupational safety and health standards that apply to the oil and gas industry, with an emphasis on

drilling and well servicing activities. Standards addressed in this class come primarily from 29 CFR 1910, the OSHA general

industry regulations, along with selected OSHA Construction regulations from 29 CFR 1926.

Upon the successful completion of this course, participants will be able to identify the most common hazards associated

with oil and gas exploration and production activities, locate applicable OSHA standards and requirements, and recommend

abatement methods for these hazards and violations of these standards. Students will be required to develop and give a 30-60

minute presentation.

Anyone responsible for the operation, servicing, and maintenance of machines — employers, employees, safety profession-

als, and industrial hygienists—should take this course. Primary safeguarding, includes control methods that protect (e.g., pre-

vent employee contact with hazardous machine areas) employees from machine hazards through effective machine guarding

techniques. In addition, a hazardous energy control (lockout/tagout) program needs to complement machine safeguarding

methods in order to protect employees during potentially hazardous servicing and maintenance work activities.

Upon the successful completion of this course, participants will be able to identify the most common hazards associated

with machine safe guarding. Students will be required to develop and give a 30-60 minute presentation.
