Intended audienceAn interactive symposium designed for surgeons involved in robotic complex abdominal wall hernia repairs.

Course descriptionThe purpose of the educational event is to facilitate discussion on successful solutions for managing robotic complex abdominal wall hernia repairs and to understand the proper use of mesh materials. Discussion will include a review of techniques for robotic CAWR, clinical data, and the science and technology of products.

From the operating room, surgeons will observe live cases.

Educational objectives• Review current literature for hernia repair techniques,

materials and patient management strategies

• Gain new insights into advanced techniques for robotic complex abdominal wall hernia repairs

• Demonstrate use of BD products in hernia repair
