Answer to question 1:

As per our group discussions, we have reached on to a conclusion that Dabba Wala system is

basically a channel assembly model. A slight alteration to the assemble to-request model is

the channel assembly supply chain model. In this model, the parts of the item are

accumulated and collected as the item travels through the appropriation channel. This is

achieved through key organizations together with outsider logistics (3PL) organizations.

These administrations now and again include either physical gathering of an item at a 3PL

office or accumulation of completed segments for conveyance to the client. Case in point, a

PC organization would have things, for example, the screen dispatched straightforwardly

from its seller to a 3PL office (e.g., one run by Federal Express or UPS or Dabba wala). The

client's PC request would hence just met up once all things were set on a vehicle for

conveyance. A channel gathering may have low or zero inventories, and it is prevalent in the

PC innovation industry.

Answer to question 2:

Dabba walas have assigned territories and houses from where they collect food containers

and deliver mark them with “codes”. These codes are actually the main ingredient of the

“system”. Dabba wala has actually developed a system where chances of error are zero and

rectification happens at the base if error or mistake is to occur. Dabba walas interpret these

codes and deliver dabbas to their assigned destinations.
