Government of India Enclave, Rajnagar Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh – 201002, INDIA
ABOUT ALTTC
Advanced Level Telecom Training Centre (ALTTC),Ghaziabad is an apex telecom
training centre of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, ALTTC is also an ISO 9001:2008
certified institution, set-up jointly by ITU,UNDP and Govt of India in 1970s.
ALTTC is having state-of –the-art telecom technology labs, vast infrastructure and a self
sustained campus full of amenities for trainees and residents. This supported by well
qualified, industry experienced trainers place us in unmatched position in the telecom
technology arena and other areas. We are also member of International
Telecommunication Union (ITU), Commonwealth Telecommunication Organization
(CTO) and Asia Pacific Telecommunity (APT). We normally conduct International
training programs for them and our experts also visit them to deliver courses at their
locations in CTO countries. We also have MOU with IIT Kanpur for Telecom CoE.
The training capability of ALTTC encompasses various telecom streams e.g. Mobile
Technologies (GSM, CDMA, 3G, Wi-Max, LTE etc), Modern Transmission Technologies (OFC,
SDH, NGSDH, DWDM, GPON/EPON, FTTH etc), New Technology Switching Systems (NGN,
Soft-switch, IP TAX, CDOT etc.), Broadband and Data Network Technologies (Networking,
IP/MPLS, Broadband Technologies, IPv6), Satellite Communication, IT etc. with latest Labs.
ALTTC also conducts Employability Enhancement Training Program (EETP) for AICTE
(All India Council for Technical Education) to facilitate the technical institutions /
engineering colleges across the country by providing competency based employability
enhancement with telecom equipment based operational skills to engineering graduates.
Recently, during the 1st meeting of steering committee of ITU’s Asia-Pacific centres of
Excellence held at Bangkok; ALTTC was selected at ITU's Centre of Excellence for
Broadband and Next Generation Network in Asia Pacific region for the period 2015-18.
Under this, ALTTC has conducted on “Broadband Access Network Planning” in Oct 2015
and another course on “NGN Project Planning & Costing” is scheduled in Feb 2016.
We, at ALTTC, are of firm belief that practical oriented training in various disciplines of
telecom related areas to the working professional would go a long way in enhancing their
competence and skills and thereby creating an asset for an organization. This will help an
organization to face the challenges of the fast growing telecom sector which is foundation
for the new technologies being evolved.
Keeping this in mind, courses related to Networking and Broadband Technologies are
planned by our Broadband faculty which is also an ITU Centre of Excellence – Asia Pacific
Region in Broadband. We are sure that participants from your organization would find the
Training Programme immensely useful. We request you to take advantage of this
opportunity and nominate Officers /Officials to participate in these short duration
programs of 3 Days to 2 Weeks Duration (Annexure).
It is noteworthy to mention that training programs can be customized to meet
your organization’s requirement after mutual discussion and consultation.
Kindly contact the Program Head / Program Coordinator in case of any further query.
Thanking you and looking forward to receive nominations.
