Want healthy shoes that fit beautifully and feel wonderful?

With our Nimco Custom Made system we’ll design and make a personalised pair of Nimco speciality shoes to your exact specifications. You choose, we’ll create your shoes!

Size ranges

All our ladies styles are available in UK sizes 2-11 . Our mens styles are available in UK sizes 5-14

Width fittings

All of our shoes are available in 4 different width fittings; I, K, M and O for ladies and mens. As an indication of the width range, the difference in joint width between the narrowest (I) and the widest (O) is 10mm for each size.

There is also the option of last additions to increase the size of many areas including:- Joint width- Joint circumference- Instep circumference- Through depth or localised depth

Last types

Nimco offer 4 last types for each of the widths mentioned above. These are:

- Standard Last (a conventional last shape)- Nature Last (this is similar to standard last but follows the natural shape of the foot)- Broken Last (this has a smaller back part than the standard last)- Nature Broken Last (this has a smaller back part than the nature last)

Footwear measurement

To choose the correct size and width for your client, the following items require measuring: length, joint width, joint circumference, instep circumference and optionally the long heel. With this information please refer to the measurement charts in order to select the correct size and width fitting for your client.

Footwear adaptionsWe are pleased to be able to offer you a full range of adaptions that can be added to your footwear order. As the custom range is made to order, we are able to add many of the adaptions at the time of manufacture. This allows us to maintain a very high quality of product.

Below are the adaptions that we currently offer.

Footwear Repairs: C12 - Refacing including eyelets, ski hooks - per pairC13 - Replace eyelets, ski hooks or D rings per pairC14 - Renew laces - per pairC19 - Relining the back of a single item of footwearC21 - Soling & heeling in synthetic material or rubber, per pairC22 - Soling & heeling in commando units - per pairC27 - Renew stick on soles - per pair

• PU sole with the required physical strength for foot protection as well as satisfactory resistance to oils and acids

• Aluminium toecaps, produced and applied in accordance with international standards and protecting the foot from crushing by heavy objects.

THIS STYLE CANNOT BE CUSTOMIZED

• The foot’s base is protected by a high moisture absorbing and desorbing capacity insole.

• A firm counter stiffener is used in the heel area. It also has the adequate shape for walking stability.
