The palm fronds carried by the children today are responsibly harvested Eco-Palm branches which come from communities in Mexico and Guatemala where workers are paid fairly and engage in sustainable harvesting in order to protect the local ecosystem.

“Not all of us can do great things. But we can all do small
things with great love” - Mother Theresa
With just one month to go for our Tree of Service, now is a great
time to think back on the acts of service you have done in the past
year - small ways you have shared God's love by serving others in
our community. It's also a time to think about things you can
do THIS month to help those in need. We want to have a tree
FULL of leaves for our Homecoming and 250th anniversary
celebration next month, representing the giving and servant spirit of
the Providence congregation. Leaves will be on the pews this
morning for your convenience, so you can fill them out with things
you have done in the past week, month or year if you haven't done
so already and feel free to take some home as a reminder to serve
others this month. THANK YOU!
Celebrate Earth Day Sunday
In honor of Earth Day Sunday, April 23, The Green Team
asks everyone to bring flowers and greenery from one's
garden to church that day. We will fill up our wire cross
display with God's lovely gifts from the Earth.
