UCare’s Service Area
Contracting
• ARMHS providers are not required to contract with UCare to provide services to UCare state public program members.
• Providers must be certified by the Minnesota Department of Human Services, and in each county as an ARMHS provider.
Authorizations
• Initial prior authorizations (under the threshold) are not required.
• Requests that exceed the threshold require a prior authorization.
