WOODBRIDGE
Upcoming EVENTS
May is going to be a busy month. There are a lot of fun in store for all. We will continue our travelogue series-12 Countries in 12 Months, decorate hats and race horses in tradition of the Kentucky Derby, pamper the ladies with Mother’s Day manicures and celebrate Older Americans' Month with a fun Flamingo-themed day of games and a picnic for our participants on Thursday, May 23rd.
In addition, I am excited to share that the Adult Day Healthcare will be welcoming back Carol Huffman. She has been a long time volunteer of the program who previously visited with her Certified therapy dog, Sage. Carol will also be visiting with her Husky Vanilla who is training for therapy dog certification. Carol and Vanilla will be visiting in a small group setting on Thursday mornings practicing skills and mastering commands necessary to get this certification. If you have any questions, concerns or do not wish to have your loved one participate in these visits please, contact Kathleen Wiley at (703)792-4931 or [email protected].
