• NovelhighsurfaceareaadsorbentscalledMetal-OrganicFrameworksallowtuningofpressureofrefrigerantadsorption,andadsorbmuchmorerefrigerant.
• Miniaturizationofadsorptionsystemswithimprovedsorbentswillallowintegrationintomobilerefrigeratedtrucks,aswellasvillage-scalecropcoldstorage.
