Adriana Lima is a model and actress who was born in 1981, in Brazil. She is known around the world because of her job as a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

Adriana Lima has admitted in several interviews she was discovered as model thanks to a friend who asked her to go with her to a casting. There, all of a sudden, judges proposed her to take part in a contest called Supermodel of Brazil, what she finally won. And in 1996, she participated in the global version of the previous contest, being runner-up. Some years later, she decided to move into New York to become a professional model. Her first jobs were in international magazines and also in different catwalks. Nowadays, Adriana work for several companies. But she is famous due to her job in Victoria’s Secret, where she has had an astonishing experience. Her first fashion show for this company came in 1999, and after this she was took on to parade up and down the catwalk. She has participated every year in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, except for the one in 2009. She has also been in charge of open this show four times. She has been chosen twice to wear the Fantasy Bra, which is a bejewelled bra. First time was in 2008 with a $5 million bra. Second time, Adriana wore a $2 million bra.

She is married to the basketball player Marko Jaric since 2009. And the same year in November, their daughter Valentina was born. Nowadays, she is pregnant again, as she announced last March.

According to several lads magazines Adriana Lima is one of the most desirable women in the world. But from my point of view I just can say she is good at her job because she has the power to attract people.
