About AdoptMeApp - Highly Leveraged
Volunteers, and only a small % need to use it to create impact. Does
not require staff participation. Small amount of volunteer mgmt.
Any volunteer w/ smart phone can master it. No training needed.
Uses existing social media for broadcast – low technical and
marketing risk
Spreads word among social networks that staff doesn’t have time to
reach; leverages volunteers’ social graph
Appropriate for all shelters/rescues, even those with none/poor tech
infrastructure
Identification of best practices. Shelters can learn from each other.

• iOS 8 Issue Resolved!

• Compose screen "Picture Attached” when there's no picture
• Selectors fail to load when there's been a lot of navigation
going on
• Half-loaded pictures in posts (only happened a couple times)
• Textarea field does not interact correctly with soft keyboard

Short Term
• Better photo previews & moving preview to the compose screen
• Counting of available characters (now just gives 50)
• Select multiple pets in post
• Multiple pictures per post
• Include animal’s profile photo in the Picker
• Redesigned user interface
• Highlighting animals that haven’t had recent posts
• Offline — stories will post once re-connected to internet
• Better image compression
