Challenge The Buffalo Bills wanted to expand the team's reach and engagement among its loyal fans and give them the ability to wake up Sunday mornings in the fall, grab their tablets, and start getting excited for the game. Despite the fact that there was an abundance of content that could be leveraged for the app, they had an incredibly small digital team—just two people—to build and deploy an app.

SolutionThe small but capable Buffalo Bills digital team launched the Buffalo Bills Touch app in time for the 2013 football season. The Bills are one of the few NFL franchises that develop content for their mobile apps in-house, which gave them the ability to put news out quickly and expand the app when fans embraced it. From news to profiles of coaches and players, from NFL draft preview articles to 3D digital flyovers of the stadium, the app gave fans an insider's view of the team. Fans love it.
