● Needs data for calculation with specific validity period (mutations during payroll period, payment anticipation, retro-active regularization, ...)

● Numerous country specific rules, reporting & electronic declarations for cotisations, taxes ...

● Currently payroll is a « restricted area » of proprietary editors (SAP, Sage, ADP,...)

● We were convinced we can develop a payroll en-vironment on OpenERP, and thus developed a payroll prototype

– Several years of customer operational support for a payroll proprietary software
