    1. ADMS installation and

    uninstallation

    1.1 Installation

    1. Put installationCD into CD driver, and the installationprogramwill runautomatically.

    Notice: This specification maynot accord with the actual

    content inCD. InstallationprograminCDprevails.2.Select language,andclickOK to continue.

    3.Before installation, other runningprogramsare suggested to bestopped, inorderto avoid collision,thenclicknext

    4. Please read software user licence agreement, and select Iaccept,thenclicknext5. Select installation path, and default path is suggested. Clicknext .

    Notice: The name of installation directory cannot beChinese.

    6.Specifyshortcuts position,andclicknext.7. After installation configuration, click installation to startinstallation.

    8. After installation, icon (ADMS management) will appear on thebottomright corner ofdesktop.

    And shortcut icon for ADMS system login will be added on thedesktop.

    9. After installation, open windows firewall to add 80port (namedWWW), as thefollowingoperations:

    Click startconfigurationcontrol panel to open windowsfirewall,andselectexception.

    Select add port(as shown below), input name (www) and portnumber (80), select TCP and then click OK to complete theoperation.

    1.2Uninstallation

    If youwont use this software any longer, andwant to delete it,you canexecute thefollowingoperations:1.ExitADMSprogram.2. Enter start -- controlpanel -- add/deleteprogram, click ADMS

    to delete it.

    3.Click YESto uninstall until it is complete.

    2. Login ADMS

    2.1 ADMS management

    1.Method to openADMSmanagement interface1) Enter start programADMS data service system , clickservicemanager toopenmanagement interface.

    2) Start this program when Windows system gets started.

    Doubly click on the bottom right corner to get

    managementinterface.

    2.SetADMSportInput port number of ADMS. (Please verify that this port isnt

    shieldedbyfireprotectionwalloranti-virussoftware.3.StartADMSservice

    Whenserviceisinthe stateof Stopped, click Start.

    4.ADMSservice pauseWhenservicestate is in Running, click Stop.

    5.RestartADMSserviceWhenserviceisinRunning,click Restart.

    2.2System login & logout

    Systemlogin1.Enterlogininterface1)Click shortcut on the desktoptoenterlogin interface.2) Enter start program ADMS data service system,clickopenhomepagetoenterlogininterface.

    2.Input correctsystemuserandpassword, click login.Systemsinitial value:user: admin

    2.3Language selection

    Click the drop-downbox on the top right corner to select language(simple Chinese& English).

    Function introduction: Modify thepasswordof the currentuser.

    Operatingsteps:1. Click modify password on the top right corner to enter theinterface.

    2. Firstly, input your old passwordonce, and then input your newpassword twice, click modify my password, after verification, themodificationwillbe complete.3. The new password comes into efficiency after the system getslogoutand loginagain.

    3.1Quickuse

    Steps recommendedbysystem:Step1: addterminalunit.Step2: add personnel data, or downloadpersonnel data fromterminalunit.Step3: Carryoutmanagement of departmentandpersonnel.Step4: Downloadandexamine recordfromterminal unit.

    3.2Devicemanagement

    3.2.1Devicemaintenance and management

    Function introduction: Manage adding, deletion, query andmodificationof the enrolleddevice inthe system. Transmit data tothe devicesonline andcontrol themremotely.Operatingsteps:1. Click device managementdevice maintenance andmanagement to enter themaintenancepage.

    2. Add, modify, query and delete the enrolled information in thedevice.1)adddevice(1) Clickaddonthetop lefttoenterthe page.

    Serial number: enter devices menu: system informationdevice informationserial number.

    Recent online time: the time recorded by systemautomatically,not abletobeedited

    Transmittingtime: thetimewhen the device startsto checkandtransmit newdatatothe server

    Refresh interval time: how often will the device checks andtransmits newdatatotheserver?

    Transmitting marker of sign-in record: the time stamp to showthe recent sign-in record transmitted from device toserver

    Transmitting marker of user data: the time stamp to showtherecentuser data transmittedfromdevice to server

    Devicename: inputa nameformanagement convenience.Department: set the devices department. Click to enter the

    newaddeddepartmentpage.City: It is the city where the device is. The device can display

    thelocal weatherin leisure.Automatic backup: Automatic backup of the enrolled data to

    otherdevices canbe set.

    Notice: It is necessary to fill in serialnumber and devices

    name.(3)After completing information input, click submit, and then

    the device is addedto the device list.

    Notice: When transmitting time, refresh interval andso on

    are set, the server will communicate with the device and

    transmit thesetting tothedevice.2)modify device(1)Click serial number on some device in the device list to

    enter themodificationpage.(2)Click submit aftermodification.

    3)query device

    (1)Input query condition in the query window, click for fuzzyquery.

    Queryfields: serialnumberanddevice name(2)Fuzzy query is supported by this system. For example, input3, serial number and device name containing 3 will bedisplayed.

    (3)After query, the device according with the conditionwill bedisplayed in the list. Click cancel query condition, all thedeviceswillbedisplayedagain.

    4)deletedevice(1)Select the data to be deleted, click delete in deal with

    selecteddatatodeletetheselecteddeviceinformation.(2)Clickdeletealltodeleteall theenrolleddeviceinformation.

    5) usingdevice pause(1)Select thedevice tomakeit pause.(2)Click pausein deal with selecteddata, the state column

    will showpause.6) recoverusingdevice(1)Select theusingdevice to be recoveredintheoption column.(2)Click recover use in deal with selected data, the state

    Select state monitor on the bottom of the homepage. Thedevicestate canberefreshedintimefor convenientoperation.

    Input refreshed interval time. For example, input 30, then thepage can be refreshed every 30 seconds, and the devicesonline/offlinestate canbedisplayed.4.OperationononlinedeviceSelectthedevicetobeoperated,andclick correspondingbutton inthe dropdownlistto completethe operation.

    Updatefirmware: updatethefirmware of the selecteddevice.

    Notice: Dont update the devices firmware at will. If you

    need to update the firmware, please contact ZKSoftware

    technician.

    Select the device to be operated and click the corresponding

    buttonto completethe operation.Backup of enrolled data: make backupof the selected informationof thedevicetootherdevices.Transmit data again: Transmitall thedata(personnelsinformation

    and attendance record) selected on thedevicetothe server.

    Transmit recordagain: Transmitthe attendance recordselectedonthe device to theserver.Checkandupdate: Updatethe devices information.Restart: Restartthe selecteddevice.Check and transmit the data immediately: force the recorder tocheck whether there is new data or not. If there is new data,uploadittothe server.Clear data: Clear all the data on the device, including personnels

    informationandattendance record.Clearrecord: Clear theattendancerecordontheselecteddevice.Set power-off: Set time for the selected devices power-offautomatically.Recover the personnels data on the device: transmit the userinformation and fingerprint saved in server to the time &attendance recorder, mainly to recover the user information orfingerprintwhich is deleted, lost or damagedby accidentor duringmaintenance.

    Notice: When server and device are in communication,

    Function: Recordall onlinedevicesoperationand timeatpresent.Operatingsteps:1. Click devicemanagementdevice operation log to enter querypage.2. Systemwill display the recordobtained at the real-time on thescreen.

    Function: Monitor sign-in/sign-out record on the devices onlinecurrentlyatthe real time.Operatingsteps:1. Click device managementreal-time record monitor or clickletterRindatamaintenancecolumntoentermonitorpage,2.Systemwill displaythe recordobtainedonthescreen.

    Function: Establish companys organization frame to managepersonnel ingroupsanddepartments.Operatingsteps:1. Click data maintenancedepartment management to enter

    departmentmanagementpage.

    Function: Manage personnelsfiles.Operatingsteps:1. Click data maintenancepersonnel management to enterpersonnelmanagement page.

    4) Check personnelsattendance recordClick personnel inchecklisttoenter the query page.

    5) deletepersonnel(1)Select the data to be deleted,andclick delete in deal with

    selecteddatatodeletetheperson.(2)Click deleteall to delete all the addedpersonnel.

    3.Export personnel'sinformationExport the personnels information displayed in current list and

    save it in local disk.

    Click submittoselect checkingor savingthisfileto local disk.4.Other operationsPersonnel transmission: Transmit the selected personnelsinformation to thespecifieddevice.Temporary personnel transmission: Transmit the selectedpersonnels information to thespecifieddevice temporarily.

    Delete personnel: Delete the selectedpersonnel fromthe specifieddevice.Personnel leave: Personnels leave: use this function to delete thepersonnels data afterhisleave.Transfer personnel data: Transfer personnels data to the newdevice: transmit the selected personnels information to the newdevice.

    3.3.3 Attendance record

    Function: Check personnels attendance record and export therecord to local disk.Operatingsteps:1.Check attendance record1) Clickdatamaintenanceattendance recordtoenterthe page.

    the records. Record check can be done through click on pagenumber or usingfilter (refer to appendix2forfilter operation).

    Click submit to select checking or saving this record to localdisk.

    3.Addattendance recordThe administrator canaddattendance recordhere.(1) Clickadd button.

    Notice: Administrators operation log cannot be added or

    deleted (added by system automatically), so these two

    Function introduction: In order to ensure system's security andprevent unauthorizeduser tomodify the data, newadministratorscanbe addedanddistributedcorrespondingprivileges.Operatingsteps:1. Groupmaintenance1).Click systemloggroup to enterthepage.

    2).Add,anddeletegroup.(1)AddgroupClick add on the top left of the page to enter the page and

    input groupname.

    Notice: Name is must. The groups allprivileges can be set

    in the followingprivilegebox.(2) Deleteall: Clickdelete all, and thenclickOK.Inthisway,

    all datawill be deleted.

    Notice: User name, password and password verification

    1. Requirement of terminalunitADMSsfunctionis to choose andconfigure device. Therefore, it

    needs devicesfirmware support.

    3)When ADMS and terminal unit are not in the same LAN, ADMSmust possess a public network IP to ensure terminal units accessto server, and WEBServer IP& Webportneed to be set.For example: ADMS IP is 116.25.139.22, and terminal unit is in

    some LAN, withIPaddress 192.168.1.201.Setting: it is OKto set WEB Server IPas 192.168.1.100, and Webport ad the set port in ADMS management (refer to 2.1 ADMSmanagement).
