Alumni Remarks

Chenglin Ning, China

Class of LLM: 2018-2019

I think the one year at CPGLS was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. I met excellent teachers and enthusiastic classmates there. We form study groups to complete presentations and other classroom tasks. I really enjoy my life here. More

importantly, the LLM of the school is very professional, and the courses taught by the teachers are of great help to my future career development. All in all, CPGLS is a great choice, where you will gain knowledge and happiness that is hard to get elsewhere.

Previously: Legal Administrator, Afghanistan Petroleum Authority, Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan

Class of LLM: 2014-2015

O.P. Jindal Global University is a place where global educational standards are truly enforced and great opportunities are offered and provided to the students. The method of teaching, programmes being offered and the way students are made to work and learn, is the uniqueness and distinctiveness of this university. I was questioned by many about choosing India for my masters considering I had already done my bachelors in India. My answer to everyone was the same; it does not matter whether you are studying at a European or an Asian University, what matters is how you explore and utilize the opportunities through hard work and effort. I am glad that Jindal Global Law School has provided me with such opportunities.

Class of LLM : 2015-2016

Studying the LL.M at CPGLS was a life changing experience, for me personally. The masters gave me an astonishing platform to realise and apply my

learnings from my previous studies in most analytical and critical manner. To be specific, the intense nature of the curriculum, the wide choices of courses and the international exposure I received from the professors, altogether have played a crucial role in uplifting my career. Looking back, I am so happy that I made the choice of joining CPGLS and I highly recommend the master's programme to all the law students who are looking for the rich international exposure which CPGLS provides. I will always cherish the learnings and experience I gained at CPGLS, Thank you.

Class of LLM: 2014-2015

The best thing about being a part of the Jindal Global Law School is the abundance of research seminars. Not

only can you enhance your own study area, but also you are able to meet incredible people from different departments and universities. I find this immensely worthwhile as I intend to stay within academia. The social life is just as vibrant as the academic life.

Class of LLM: 2013-2014

During my study at O. P. JGU, I made many friends among professors, classmates and staff. we were provided with an integrated campus with world-class facilities that enabled better learning. I highlight in this matter two elements: A well-equipped library and internet for 24 hours. For someone like me, coming from a country whose linguistic expression is not English, the centre of languages is of great help. In short, I am returning to my country with good memories and I wish the next cohort of international students all the very best.

Mir Abdul Wahed Hashimi, Kabul, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan

In my first weeks when I came to India and started my LLM at CPGLS JGU, I was questioning myself why I am

here. I have enough work experience, why I should do a Master's program. But after sometimes when I attended the classes and started communications with faculty members and other LLM candidates and attended the side conferences/ workshops like CPGLS joined classes and conference with the Stanford University on Deliberative Democracy, the International Workshop on Climate Changes with India National Green Tribunal, the CPGLS and India Bar Association conference on the privatization of legal services and many other programs. I said to myself, you may a good decision and choose the right place to pursue a master's degree. As I have said many times and I want to repeat again CPGLS/JGU is a place of opportunities. it depends on the candidates/students on how to use the maximum opportunities to build their professional skills and knowledge. The CPGLS faculty members always have been available to guide and response to the candidate questions and provide references.he very best.

Class of LLM: 2016-2017

Current: Assistant Professor - National Law University - Jodhpur

It gives me great pleasure and delight to script my experience as a student at the O. P. Jindal Global University, because those beautiful bygone days

bring sweet memories of my past days and achievements in my career as it are always with everyone. The Jindal Global Law School curriculum having the combination of practice, legal theory, doctrinal analysis and unparalelled faculty support that materialised my dream to be a teacher of international economic law in a highly competitive academic environment.

Rosmy Joan, India

Class of LLM: 2011-2013Tongtong, China

CPGLS is a place full of diversity and inclusiveness. As an international student, I have received a lot of help from my teachers, faculties and classmates, so I can well integrate here. I deeply feel that the CPGLS Team is all about students. They are professional and

friendly. They are experienced in satisfying the needs of students and responding to students' inquiries timely. The most amazing thing was I met many famous experts here and I listened to a lot of lectures by them at close range. At class, professors not only taught legal knowledge, but also included the legal research methodology, the use of advanced software, writing skills, career development and other comprehensive education. These have benefited me for life. Studying at CPGLS is very worthwhile and meaningful.

Current Position: Media Law and Policy Director - Internews Network, Kabul
