ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR NAVYUG SCHOOLS

1 Who can apply Admission is restricted to the wards of NDMC area residents only. For Class-Pre-Primary (KG) and Class-Ist admission notice is published in newspapers every year in the month of February/March. Age for Pre-Primary(KG): 4+ years as on 31st March of the year For Class-1: 5+years as on 31st March of the year

2 When to apply In response to the admission notice published in newspapers in the month of February/March every year.

3 How to apply In prescribed registration forms available from schools, enclosing birth certificate, proof of residence and income certificate.

4 Where to apply In the nearby Navyug School

5 Procedure for admission

The admissions in classes-Pre-Primary(KG) and Class-1 are done on the basis of draw of lots’

6 Confirmation/rejection of the admission

List of the selected students is displayed on the Notice Board of the schools.

Admission Policy for Navyug Schools

As per the admission policy admission in Class-Pre-Primary (KG) and class-1 are taken on the

basis of draw of lots’. 70% seats for admission are reserved for students in Category ‘A’(Parental

annual income below Rs. 1,80,000/- per annum) and 30% seats are reserved for Category

‘B’(Parental annual income above Rs. 1,80,000/-. 05% of seats each in the Category ‘A’ and ‘B’ are

reserved for children of NDMC/NSES employees. 40% in both the Categories ‘A’ and ‘B’ are reserved

for students of NDMC schools.

Further 05% seats for Alumni and 05% seats for Sibling are also available. For reservation of

SC/ST students, Govt. of NCT of Delhi instructions are followed. 03% reservation has also been kept

for children with disabilities other than mental disabilities.

10% of seats in all admission categories are kept at the discretion of the Navyug School

Educational Society (NSES) in specially deserving cases. For this purpose a power is vested with the

chairperson, NDMC/NSES.

Fee Structure: Like NDMC schools the education in free of cost in Navyug Schools.
