ATMs/CASH POINTS

There are 2 ATM machines in the Championship Village, provided by the HSBC. The first of which is located in the Theatre of Food next to the Pizza/Baguette/Fish and Chips serving hatches. The

second ATM can be found in the Welcome Pavilion. The nearest bank is in Virginia Water.

AUTOGRAPH POLICY

Spectators are kindly requested not to ask players for autographs on Match Days. There is a dedicated autograph area at the back of the 18th Grandstand where people are asked to queue.

BIG SCREENS/SCOREBOARDS

Big screens and scoreboards are strategically placed around the course on the 1st Tee, 14th Hole and 18th Green. We also have a Big Screen in the Championship Village above the Scoreboard.

BMW CAR DISPLAY & REMOTE CONTROL CARS

BMW are displaying their latest models and the chance to experience the latest technology in their car display area. There is also the crowd favourite remote control car race track where spectators can compete against each other for the fastest lap times.

BMW OWNERS’ FACILITIES

The BMW Owners’ Lounge is situated within the Championship Village where there is a variety of catering offerings available. There is also a BMW Owners area on the 14th Green Grandstand. Entry to both these facilities is by showing your key fob. Mini owners are also given access to these areas.

BICYCLES

Bicycle parking will be available adjacent to the Welcome Pavilion. Please provide your own lock.

CAMERAS

Cameras are permitted ONLY on Practice Days – Tuesday and Wednesday

Cameras are NOT permitted on Match Days – Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Although mobile phones are permitted on all five days of the event, the use of the camera facility is as per the above.

CELEBRITY PRO-AM

What is now probably the most renowned Pro-Am in European Golf, the BMW PGA Championship Celebrity Pro-Am takes place on Wednesday 21st May. Spectators will have a front row view of not only their favorite golfers but some of the most popular celebrities at this moment in time. From the world of football where Glen Hoddle, Teddy Sheringham, Peter Schmeichel, David Ginola and Gianfranco Zola will all be playing, to the world of showbiz where Strictly star Anton Du Beke will be dancing down the fairways, while Football Focus’ Dan Walker, newsreaders Mark Austin and Rishi Persad and presenters Andrew Cotter, Jeremy Kyle, Steve Rider and Rob Bonnet will all add to the TV line-up.

The Pro-Am Draw will be published on www.europeantour.com on Monday 19th May.

CHAMPIONSHIP HOSTS There will be 150 Championship Hosts in attendance at this year’s tournament. The purpose of a Championship Host is to Welcome and assist all spectators entering the Welcome Pavilion and to address queries/problems. The BMW PGA Championship is the European Tours’ flagship event and we are committed to making it an unforgettable experience! Volunteers are an essential element of the Championship. Championship Hosts are identified by a Turquoise coloured top with ‘Championship Host’ embroidered on the back. CHILDCARE

The BMW PGA Championship is one of the only sporting events in the UK that provides a public crèche facility located in the Championship Village beside the Theatre of Food. The crèche facility is managed by a qualified and experienced manager and staffed by a hand chosen team of fully qualified NNEB/NVQ level 3 certificate qualified teachers. The facility is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 09.00hrs each day until 18.00hrs. The maximum age limit is 8 years old. CLOTHING AND WHAT TO WEAR It would be recommended to wear casual golf wear. The ground is uneven and particularly under wet conditions the ground may become slippery therefore appropriate footwear should be worn to avoid injury. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY AND PROHIBITED ITEMS

All tickets are issued subject to the ground regulations and terms and conditions of the Tournament and the European Tour. Lost, stolen or damaged tickets cannot be replaced. Tickets are non-refundable including in the event of curtailment or cancellation through adverse weather. The ticket holder acknowledges the risk of being struck by a golf ball and agrees that they are assuming all risk and danger arising from their attendance at the event. To the extent permissible by law the promoter, venue, European Tour, players, sponsors and their respective employees, servants, agents, independent contractors or representatives will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage suffered by any person entering the venue including liability for any injury, loss or damage caused by the negligence of the promoter or venue, their employees, contractors or agents. Making or distributing broadcasts, commentary, news reports, data, results or statistics by any means in any format or media including any such by mobile phone or other wireless device is not permitted. Ticket holders consent to being photographed, filmed and recorded at the Tournament (including by CCTV), and consent to use of any such film, image or recording at the discretion of the promoter and/or European Tour and their licensees and partners without compensation or notice. No dogs (other than guide dogs) or other animals are permitted on the course. All promotional, commercial, political, religious or offensive items of whatever nature including, but not limited to clothing, banners, signs, symbols and leaflets are prohibited. The ticket holder must comply with all relevant statutes, signs, safety announcements, directions of stewards and ground regulations whilst attending the Tournament. Breach of any of these conditions or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall enable the venue or event management to revoke this ticket and to eject the holder without compensation. Tickets are non transferable. Any transfer of this ticket will render it void. The ticket remains the property of the Tournament at all times. NO Cameras (except on practice days when cameras are allowed) Thursday – Sunday The use of mobile phones are permitted, restricted to dedicated areas only. Please refer to on-course signage. COURSE Spectators can move freely around the golf course but please stay outside the ropes. Controlled crossing points, which are clearly marked by yellow signposts, should be used when crossing fairways.

DISABLED FACILITIES Use of private scooters is discouraged but there will be appropriate off road scooters for hire. Event Mobility Charitable Trust Event Mobility will be providing a number of electric scooters for hire by the elderly or disabled. The facility is located in the Disabled Car Park (in Car Park 6) with attendants on hand to show you how to use the vehicles. You can book your scooter online at www.eventmobility.org.uk or by phone on 01386 725391. Wheelchair ramps are provided in all public amenities in the Championship Village. Disabled toilets are situated in the Championship Village, by the 14th green and at the Disabled Car Park. A dedicated bus for disabled visitors will operate to vantage points on the course. Please notify the nearest marshal at that point who will guide you to a designated viewing area. All Blue Badge Holders will be directed to the front rows of the Park and Ride areas to then access the Public Shuttle Bus to the Welcome Pavilion. EVACUATION PROCEDURE

If it is necessary to evacuate the site, please follow the instructions of the course marshals, volunteers and event officials in an orderly fashion.

FIRST AID

Medic 1 are the official First Aid support on-site at BMW PGA Championship. The First Aid centre is situated by Car Park 6 and onwards from the First Tee and The Practice Range. In the event of injury or an emergency on course, please contact the nearest marshal or championship host who can contact someone to assist. Within the Championship Village area, please contact the BMW PGA Championship Office situated behind the 18th green grandstand.

FOOD & DRINK

There is a wide range of delicious food on offer. Our Championship Village ‘Theatre of Food’ contains a Pizzeria, a Fish and Chip Shop and a Deli Sandwich shop. Our Championship Village also contains the Warsteiner Bar and Lounge which serves a cold Warsteiner pint to quench your thirst.

On course refreshments can be found on Holes 2, 5, 8, 12 and 14. There is also the Warsteiner Beer Garden on Hole 14 as well as the Moet Bar on the 17th Hole.

All major credit cards are accepted in the Championship Village

The consumption of alcohol is permitted only in the bars or other authorised areas or places during hours decided by the Management, and the right is reserved to close bars at any time.

GRANDSTANDS

Course grandstand seating is free and available to the public on a first come first served basis. These are located on the 1st Tee, 7th Green, 14th Green and 16th Green. NO ALCOHOL OR SMOKING in the grandstands is permitted and spectators are kindly asked not to stand up on the stands during play.

The 18th Green Grandstand has free public access on a first come first served basis, but it is also possible to reserve seats in this area from Thursday – Sunday. We have increased the capacity to 2,400 seats however those who have not booked seats may have to queue for access at peak times. A dedicated wheelchair viewing area will once again be positioned at the back right of the 18th green.

HSBC ROAD HOLE BUNKER AND TENNIS CHALLENGE

As HSBC are now one the official Bank of the BMW PGA Championship, they have transported the infamous 17th Road Hole Bunker from St. Andrews to Wentworth to see if you can try and escape the hazard.

HSBC will also be running the Tennis Challenge where they will be seeing if you can serve faster than some of Tennis’ elite and also some of the golfers on show. These 2 challenges will be situated at the bottom of the Championship Village.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY FOR SPECTATORS

Observe the leaderboards and big screens throughout the golf course for signs that will appear prior to inclement weather moving into the area. When this sign appears, Marshals will be instructed to start clearing grandstands and spectators are advised to take precautions PRIOR to play being suspended. If the siren sounds, seek shelter immediately. AVOID THE FOLLOWING: • Open areas • Hilltops / high places • Isolated trees • Golf carts • Wire fences

INFORMATION CENTRE

The Information Centre is located at the top of the Championship Village near the Media Centre. Programmes and draw sheets are also available here and by the 1st Tee.

LOST CHILDREN

Children who become separated from their parents or guardians will be taken to the Joint Operations Command Centre (JOCC) Emergency Services area situated left of the 1st Fairway, by Car Park 6. Contact the nearest BMW PGA volunteer, Marshal or Official if your child is lost.

LEFT LUGGAGE

For those spectators who wish to leave items of clothing, cameras, phones, umbrellas etc.,

there will be a free left luggage facility situated on the left hand-side as they enter the

Welcome Pavilion. They will be provided with a ticket, which they must retain in order to get

their belongings back at the end of the day.

LOST PROPERTY

The lost property point is in the Championship Office located in the Championship Village opposite the Hospitality Pavilion.

MARSHALS There are over 400 Marshals and they are extremely influential in helping to ensure that play runs smoothly. The purpose of a marshal is to ensure that the competitors are able to compete under the best conditions. Many of the marshals have volunteered at a number of other golf events across the country and have a good understanding of the appropriate golfing etiquette. BMW PGA Championship Marshals are identified by a Navy Blue Hugo boss windbreaker tops with a white Hugo Boss Cap. MERCHANDISE

A wide range of Official European Tour merchandise is on sale at the Official Merchandise Shop in the Championship Village. The shop offers the chance to personalise some select items, and provides an international shipping service for goods of a reasonable size/weight after passing through the tills. MEGA PUTT CHALLENGE

To commemorate 60 years of the PGA Championship, we have introduced the BMW PGA Championship Anniversary Mega Putt Challenge. This will be situated in the heart of the village and will be seen as soon as you walk through the Welcome Pavilion. Do you think you can sink a 60 foot putt over a few bumps and bunkers? Well come along and give it a go...

MOBILE PHONES

MUST BE ON SILENT AT ALL TIMES Can be used for calls in designated areas only – for example in the Championship

Village and by the 10th hole Text messaging and checking data is allowed on the golf course. Mobile phone cameras are NOT permitted on Match Days (Thursday, Friday,

Saturday and Sunday). No video recording is permitted at any time. Using a mobile phone in an unauthorised area or in ways not permitted may result in

the phone being confiscated. It can be collected at a designated location after departing the venue.

MOËT & CHANDON BAR & BRASSERIE

The Moët & Chandon Bar & Brasserie is situated next to the Scoreboard in the Championship Village.

Packages are available for the excellent Moët & Chandon Brasserie for all four days of the 2014 Championship and can be booked in advance. Admission and reserved on-site parking are included in the package, which begins at breakfast time with coffee and bacon rolls; continues with a glass of champagne on arrival for lunch at a reserved table followed by a two course luncheon with half a bottle of wine per person. Packages for the Moët & Chandon Brasserie cost £120pp inc vat Wednesday or £180pp inc vat (Thursday or Friday), or £160pp inc vat (Saturday or Sunday). It is also possible to walk up on the day and eat in the Brasserie, however this area is not bookable in advance or guaranteed and therefore there may be a wait for a table.

MOUTON CADET WINE BAR

The Mouton Cadet Wine Bar serves snacks and a range of Mouton Cadet vintage wines. It is located in the Championship Village next to the Theatre of Food.

MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT

The BMW Show Stage is situated at the bottom of the Championship Village. Once again, it will be buzzing with live music and entertainment. Performances will take place between Thursday 22nd – Sunday 25th May.

COTTERS QUESTIONS will return, with stars from sports, music and TV being interviewed by Andrew Cotter. Golfers will also take to the stage with Ryder Cup stars past and present talking about the upcoming event taking place in Gleneagles in September. *Thursday & Friday @ 13.00hrs, Saturday @ 12.30hrs, Sunday @ 12.00hrs Football theme.

NIKE NETS

Fancy fine tuning your swing? Then we have the place for you, we have 3 Nike Nets at the bottom of the Championship Village where professionals will be able to iron out those kinks in your swing.

PEDESTRIAN ZONE

A Pedestrian Zone, created especially for the BMW PGA Championship, starts at the entrance to the Championship Village and continues along the road in front of Wentworth Club, up to the Tennis and Health Club round to Car Park 5. The zone will be operational Tuesday-Sunday from 07:00 – 19:00.

PARKING ARRANGEMENTS The Park and Ride system, which was successfully introduced for the first time in 2013 to help facilitate the flow of traffic in the vicinity and allow spectators ready access to the Wentworth Estate, will again be in operation, operating from locations to be advised at a later date. BMW Owners and Official Badge Holders will be able to park on site as in previous years. Blue badge holders should follow the signs to the Park and Rides where they will be parked in the front rows to board the Public Shuttle Bus to the Welcome Pavilion.

There is an opportunity for the public to pre-pay for a limited number of parking spaces on site at a cost of £10 per day from Wednesday onwards. On site car parking is only available by booking in advance in conjunction with the purchase of advance tickets and can be booked below.

PARK & RIDE

Two Park and Ride locations (one near Sunningdale and one at Ascot Racecourse) will operate a free shuttle bus service to Wentworth Club every five minutes, with the journey time taking around 15 minutes.

To return to your Park & Ride site, make your way to the Championship Village and exit through the Welcome Pavilion to the Bus Terminus. There will be dedicated bus stops for each Park & Ride Site.

PETS No pets are allowed, with the exception of guide dogs, on the course and we respectfully suggest that you do not leave your pet in the car. PLAYERS This is a full field European Tour event consisting of the leading 150 European Tour professionals. PRACTICE DAYS

The 2014 BMW PGA Championship Practice Days are the best opportunity for fans to see the stars of Europe’s elite up close and in relaxed mood as they get acquainted with the West Course at Wentworth. The players will practice on course and at the driving range.

PROGRAMMES & DRAWSHEETS BMW PGA Championship Programmes, including drawsheet, will be available for a £1 voluntary donation at both Park & Ride Sites, Welcome Pavilion and Information Tent, and adjacent to the 1st Tee and 5th Hole. All donations will go towards the Official Charity of the Championship, Challengers. Challengers is an independent charity that, for more than 30 years, has developed and delivered inclusive play and leisure for disabled children and young people across Surrey, Hampshire and increasingly the surrounding areas. The charity is based in Guildford and in

2013 delivered more than 135,000 hours for 1,400 disabled children.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items are prohibited from being taken beyond ticket and security checkpoints or into the venue: bags and rucksacks greater than 12” in any dimension; cameras on Match Days; ladders; picnic baskets; briefcases; portable TVs; pushchairs; bicycles; deckchairs; audible pagers and banners; personal mobility scooters.

SEATING AREAS

There are seating areas located in the Championship Village surrounding the Theatre of Food. You can also get comfy on the Giant Bean Bags by the Welcome Pavilion and Exhibition stands.

There are 8 Shuttle bus pick-up/drop-off points around the course and they are situated as follows:

SMOKING POLICY

Smoking is not permitted in any structure, including outdoor balconies.

SUGGESTIONS FOR SPECTATORS

Remain still for each shot and do not move until all the players in the group have played or holed out.

Do not speak to the players while they are on the course. Walk, don’t run, and obey the course marshals – they are trying to make your day

more enjoyable. Kneel or sit down if you are in the front row. Keep behind the ropes and barriers around the course and use the official crossing

points. Familiarise yourself with the location of First Aid stations and refreshment areas. Consider other spectators when using an umbrella. Dress accordingly for the weather conditions. Sensible shoes should be worn. No

metal spikes allowed. No Blue denim wear to be worn in the Clubhouse or for guests attending the

Hospitality Pavilion. Please listen to any public address announcements and follow instructions from

officials and volunteers should they be necessary.

TAXI DROP OFF AND PICK UP There will be a taxi pick-up and drop-off area. Entry point is from the A30 Yellow Entrance into Portnall Road.

TICKET PURCHASING - DAILY ADMISSION TICKETS

Please note that for 2014 for adult and concession daily tickets should now be purchased for specific 'named' days of the Championship (Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday), which replaces the 'Any One Day' ticket. Once purchased no changes to dates will be allowable.

Spectators who have not purchased a ticket in advance will be able to purchase their tickets at both Park & Ride sites prior to boarding the shuttle bus. Tickets can also be purchased within the Welcome Pavilion. Credit/Debit Cards accepted. An ATM will also be available for cash withdrawals.
