first-class medical certificate by the due date.

- First-class medical certificate must be issued from one of the designated hospitals

3. Admission Eligibility

� Freshmen Those applicants who meet both A & B qualifications or those who are considered to

have equivalent education according to the related regulations.

A. Applicants and both parents must have non-Korean national citizenship. (Applicants

and both parents must hold foreign national citizenship prior to high school.)

B. International students who have completed or expects to complete all elementary

/ middle / high school course studies abroad or

International students who have completed or expect to complete all elementary

/ middle / high school course studies in foreign schools in Korea.

� Transfer Student (3rd Year) Applicants should meet the requirements for freshmen application listed above

in addition to one of the following requirements.

A. Those who have completed (or will complete) two full academic years (more than

4 semesters) at a 4-year university in Korea or overseas by August 2014.

(Applicants must submit an evidential document that shows the applicants has

acquired more than one half of the credits required for graduation.)

B. Those who have graduated or will graduate by August 2014 from 2 or 3-year

college in Korea or overseas.

4. Nationality

A. Applicants will be disqualified for admission, if the applicant and his/her

parents are holding dual citizenships or no citizenship.

B. If the applicant's nationality is Taiwanese, he/she may apply, even if only

one of the parents holds Taiwanese citizenship.

5. Korean Language Proficiency

A. Those who have earned TOPIK level 3 or above.

B. Those who have completed level 4 or higher of the Korean Language Education

Center of Korea Aerospace University.



C. Those who have completed level 4 or higher of Korean curriculum at an

education institution at a university in Korea.

D. Those who are considered to have equivalent Korean language proficiency.

(Applicants must submit evidential documentation.)

※ International student must earn TOPIK level 4 before graduation.

9. Notes

1. Application form must be submitted in person. Applicants must submit all the

required documents by the application deadline.

2. Applicants for Department of Aeronautical Science and Flight Operation must submit the

first-class medical certificate by the submission of documents date.

3. Applicants must submit notarized documents in Korean or English, if the documents

are not in Korean.

4. Applicants may be required to submit additional documents if necessary.

5. Applicants must submit an original copy of the required documents before entrance.

6. Applicants who submit any documents not issued in Korea, must provide contact

methods including the issuing department, English address, international office

number and Fax number.

7. If the names of the submitted documents are different, the applicant must provide

documentation verifying their identification that is issued by the country's court

or diplomatic office.

8. Applicants who expect to graduate must submit an official certificate of graduate

after admission.

9. Admission will be revoked if the submitted documents contain false information or

if the applicant used dishonest means to enroll in the university.

10. Other terms and conditions that are not listed above will be processed in

accordance with Korea Aerospace University's admissions regulations and academic

regulations.

13. KAU Korean Language Education Center

A. Tuition and Class (As of Academic Year 2014)

- Class hours: 180 hours (4 terms per year, 5 days per week)

- Tuition: 1,200,000 KRW per semester (7,303 CNY, 1CNY =164 KRW Approx.)
