RAJKIYA PRATIBHA VIKAS VIDYALAYAS

FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2019-2020

The admission of students of Govt./Govt. Aided Schools of DoE/MCD/NDMC/Delhi Cantt. Board Schools in Class VI in following Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalayas of Directorate of Education are open for the Academic Session 2019-20.

• The admission for Class VI in all the above RPVVs is as per available seats in respective RPVVs. The information about the available seats in a particular RPVV can also be obtained from respective RPVVs. The list of available seats is also enclosed herewith.

Eligibility Criteria for Registration for Entrance Test for Admission in Class VI.

• All the students who have studied continuously for last TWO years (2017-18 & 2018-19) in Government/ Govt. Aided Schools of Directorate of Education/MCD/NDMC/ Delhi Cantonment Board Schools situated in Delhi and have passed the last class preceding the Class to which admission is being sought with at least 60% marks are eligible for registration for Entrance Test.

• However, if the result is in the form of Grades, then the applicants will produce a certificate issued by HOS of School converting the grades into marks.

• A student can get himself/herself registered in any one of the RPVV with order of preference of RPVV within a particular Cluster of RPVVs as per his/her choice of RPVV where he/she desires admission. No request for change of RPVV shall be entertained in any case/stage. Hence, all the applicants are advised to get themselves registered for entrance test in RPVV of their choice.

The Registration Form along with mark sheets of Classes passed by students (Class IV & V) for admission in Class VI duly attested by Principal/HOS where the student is presently studying should be submitted in the concerned RPVV for Entrance Test and obtaining the Admit Card from the same RPVV.

The applicants are also advised to check their eligibility for registration beforehand.

0 The HOS of the Govt./Govt. Aided Schools of DOE, NDMC and Delhi Cantt. Board Schools will register online all their eligible students for Entrance Test for Admission in Class VI in respective RPVVs for Academic Session 2019-20. At the time of registration, the students will have the choices of selecting RPVVs in order of preference in a particular Cluster of RPVV. The Admit Card will be issued by HOS of respective RPVV in which a student has given his/her first choice for admission in respective RPVVs. The schools of NDMC, if not linked on MIS link with DOE, then the application form of students of NDMC schools for admission in Class VI will also be accepted manually by respective RPVVs.

ENTRANCE TEST:

All the registered candidate will have to appear for Entrance Test that will be held on the same date & time for all the RPVVs and the selection will be based on the merit of the applicant in the Entrance Test. The Entrance Test will consist of objective type questions to test the numerical & mental ability, general knowledge and language comprehension and also descriptive type questions to test the writing skills in English and in Hindi. The duration of test will be for 2 hours & 20 minutes.

The venue of Entrance Test will be in the respective RPVVs in which the student has been registered as his/her first choice of RPVV for Admission.

MERIT

The selection of students will be based on common cluster wise merit in the Entrance Test for admission in RPVVs. The enrollment in one section of a Class will not exceed 35 students. However, in case the enrollment is less than 20, then no new section will be added.

1. The HOS of Govt./Govt. Aided Schools of DOE, NDMC and Delhi Cantt. Board will register online all their eligible students for admission in Class VI in RPVVs for Entrance Test. The students will have option of choosing RPVV in order of preference in a particular cluster of RPVV. The HOS will hand over the hard copy of registration form along with the requisite certificates to the students/parent of the student who will submit the registration form with requisite documents to HOS of concerned RPVV in which the student has given his/her first choice for admission

05.04.2019 (FRIDAY) to 12.04.2019 (FRIDAY) on all working days between 9:00 am to 11:00 am and upto 1:00 pm on the last day i.e. 12.04.2019.

2. Date of Entrance Test 16.04.2019 (Tuesday) from 10:00 AM to 12:20 PM

3. Declaration of Result 23.04.2019 at 2:00 PM (Tuesday)

4. Date and Time of Draw, If, required 24.04.2019 (Wednesday) at 9:00AM

5. Admission process (Such as submission of documents)

Details will be provided by the Head of respective RPVVs at the time of declaration of result.

In case any "last day" is declared as a "Public Holiday", the next working day will be treated as the "last day".

Applicants/Parents of the ward may contact the respective HOS of where the student is presently studying for registration for Entrance Test for admission in RPVVs mentioned in the advertisement as well as in this Admission Notice. They can also contact the HOS of RPVVs on any working day for any clarification regarding availability of seats and submission of application form etc.

If any discrepancy is found in respect of documents submitted or false information submitted by the candidate at any stage/ level, then his/her candidature/ admission in RPVV will summarily be rejected without any notice.

• General instructions

1. Registration for entrance test does not entitle a candidate to secure his/her seat in

RPVV. The admission in RPVVs is purely on the basis of merit of the result of

Entrance Test.

2. The information about the available seats in Class VI can be obtained from respective

RPVVs.

3. Online Registration shall be made only in one RPVV with option to choose RPVVs in

order of preference in a particular cluster of RPVVs. The applicants are also advised

to check their eligibility for online registration before submitting the Registration

Form.

4. Duly filled/completed registration form should be submitted by the candidate to the

HOS of RPVV of his/her first choice of RPVV for admission.

5. Submission of Registration Form with necessary documents from 05.04.2019 to

12.04.2019.

6. Date of Entrance Test 16.04.2019 from 10:00 AM to 12:20 PM.

7. Declaration of Result on 23.04.2019 at 2:00 PM in the respective RPVVs.

8. Complete details in respect of Eligibility criteria/complete schedule in respect of

Entrance test/Admission process and Registration form / Admit card are available at

PUBLIC DOMAIN of the official website of Directorate of Education i.e.
