Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC) is a flagship program of the University of Delhi started inSeptember 2011, with the aim of interlinking Academia, Society and Industry through innovation
activities. The main objectives of CIC are to:
Foster an environment of innovation. Create degree and short term programmes that reflect and use innovation. Educate and sensitize undergraduate students and college teachers by launching
projects related to innovation in the real world.
Enhance potential of faculty and students by conducting training/orientationprogrammes/modules on innovation and research.
Incubate ideas that are highly innovative and relate to society in a practical way. Facilitate collaborations and partnerships with industry, academia and other
segments of society.
Encourage a culture of entrepreneurship for the University of Delhi as a whole.Currently, CIC offers two multi-disciplinary innovative learning B.Tech. Courses:
1. B. Tech./B.S. Innovation with Mathematics & Information Technology* 4-year:Course, 40 Seats, Reservation as per university rules.
Eli gibility cri teria:
A minimum aggregate marks at 10+2 level as mentioned below (category wise) :General Category: 60 % in four subjects (including mathematics);
OBC category: 54% in four subjects (including mathematics);PH category: 55% in four subjects (including mathematics);
SC/ST category: Passing marks with mathematics as one subject.
The candidate must be enrolled in any of the regular Full-Timeundergraduate programme of study in the University of Delhi at
the time of admission.

Admission procedure: The admission to the course is through an entrance test (75%
weightage) followed by an interview (25% weightage) of shortlisted candidates.
2. B. Tech. Humanities* (based on Meta College concept of Design your own degree):4-year Course, 40 Seats, Reservation as per university rules.
Eli gibility cri teria:
A minimum aggregate marks at 10+2 level as mentioned below (category wise) :General category: 60% in four subjects;
OBC category: 54% in four subjects;
PH category: 55% in four subjects;
SC/ST category: Passing marks.
Candidate must be enrolled in any undergraduate programme ofstudy in a regular college of University of Delhi, School of OpenLearning (SOL) or Non-Collegiate Womens Education Board
(NCWEB) of University of Delhi at the time of admission.
