Why study in Bucharest?
First documented in 1459, the capital city of Romania has a lot to offer:
historical sights dating as far back as the 1400s: the Old Royal Court,
palaces, inns, the Fire Tower, the Arch of Triumph;
famous architectural monuments: the Palace of Parliament (the second
largest building in the world after the US Pentagon building), the Central
University Library etc.;
numerous museums, theatre halls, classical and modern music halls,
exhibition centers;
long-standing international film and music festivals;
clubs, pubs, restaurants where you can taste traditional dishes from all
over the world or participate in one of the beer festivals;
gardens and leisure areas suitable for water sports and adventure parks,
five football stadiums, amazing Air Shows at the Henri Coanda International
Airport.
How to get to Bucharest
You can reach us by car, by train, by air or – if you come from a place in
Europe – by bus. The “Henri Coanda” International Airport – OTP is
Romania’s busiest international airport, with flights from/ to all major
cities around the globe. The airport is connected to the city by express bus
services and by railway.
Explore Romania!
Situated in Southeastern Europe, Romania is made up of roughly equal
mountainous, hilly and lowland territories, so it’s up to you to choose
between spending a weekend in the mountains or at the seaside, or
joining a two-week trip around the country to see the most of it!
Romania’s incredible scenery and natural ecosystems, unique
architectural patterns and impressive historical vestiges have been
recognized by the inclusion of over 25 landmarks from 7 different
locations on the list of UNESCO world heritage sites.
