photo courtesy West Seattle Blog CRIME PREVENTION AT HAMILTON VIEWPOINT PARK 7:00 pm Tuesday, September 8, 2015 Unfortunately this summer Hamilton Viewpoint Park has been the scene of serious criminal activity. One incident included an armed robbery that resulted in gunfire, and one a separate occasion a fight broke out involving nearly 30 individuals, at least one of whom was armed. Seattle Parks and Police Dept. will be on hand to advise on steps they’ll be taking to prevent crime at this park. We will also hear from Seattle Dept. of Transportation on the parking study of Admiral Way SW conducted this summer and their revised plan for adding bicycle infrastructure. Finally, we will evaluate and debrief our Hiawatha Summer Concert Series. The ANA meets at The Sanctuary at Admiral, at 2656 42 nd Ave SW. Our monthly meetings are held the 2 nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. The Admiral Neighborhood Association is comprised of residents, business people and others who care about the environmental, economic, social sustainability of our Admiral neighborhood. We believe in maintaining the quality of life we have come to enjoy and exist to serve our neighbors and community.
