JOB PURPOSE
To administer Artisan Development programmes
ROLE CONTEXT
Keeping control of Artisan Development grants requires applied knowledge of policies, procedures and guidelines that govern the artisan development within the organization.

REGISTRATIONS: ARTISAN DEVELOPMENT CONTRACTS
Finalize the registration process within specified timelines.
Provide in house control and reports on Artisan Development contracts.
Ensure that an Artisan Development Contract Number is issued.
Submit learner contracts to the CEO for approval. Record Learner Contracts handed to Data Capturers to
be captured on APMIS System. Update Spreadsheet. Notify / copy to employer. Ensure that supporting documents meet DHET
requirements. ISSUE TRADE TEST APPLICATIONS AND CERTIFICATES
Receive trade test applications and issue a serial number.
Collect or receive trade test results. Update APMIS. Issue Certificate or Issue Termination letter. Obtain CEO’s signature. Prepare, submit and collect submission to and from
DHET. Notify Employer.
Dispatch and follow-up. INITIATE AND ADMINISTRATE FUNDING/LEARNER PROGRESS
Maintain six (6) month payment cycle or based on learner progress
Send reminder to Employer. Prepare disbursement and request an invoice and
ensure necessary supporting documentation. Prepare MVR to monitor the verification report. Receive MVR back and check compliance against
Mandatory Requirements. Prepare invoices, update project module and submit for
approval Follow-up on payments Reconcile credit card statements.
ADMINISTRATION
File Real Time. Keep copy of Trade Test Certificates on file. Assist with audits by preparing documentation for the
audits. Request records from APMIS for reporting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 NQF 5 in Office Administration 3 years experience in office administration
