■ Information provided in this presentation is for informational purposes only and

is subject to change. Neither this presentation nor any information gained from it

are binding on the Government. Only the final RFP issued to Industry will be

binding upon the Government.

■ FedBizOpps will be the method of notification for release such as (but not

limited to): Industry Day, draft SOW, and final solicitation.

■ The U.S. Army Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions

(CHESS) in coordination with the Army Contracting Command – Rock Island

(ACC-RI), requires contracts to support the Government’s worldwide

requirements for commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) Information Technology (IT)

equipment and services in accordance with the definition under FAR 2.101.

■ The contracts shall also allow the DoD to modify or develop new service centric

programs in an effort to enhance configuration management of IT and leverage

buying power of IT products.

Historical Data

■ The Army Desktop and Mobile Computing-3 (ADMC-3) contract is a follow-on acquisition

to the ADMC-2.

■ Scope: Awarded in FY06 for the procurement of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS)

desktop, notebooks, ruggedized and semi-ruggedized devices and mobile devices. Will

operate under the approved NETCOM Army Golden Master (AGM) desktop operating

system and application suite image. The Army Gold Master (AGM) is a NETCOM

managed evolving suite of software that will be required to be loaded by the contractors

on all Army PCs, workstations, servers, and notebooks.

■ Contract Type: Eight (8) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Contracts

■ Period of Performance: 24 APR 2006 to 23 APR 2016

■ Open To: Open to Army, DOD, and Federal agencies

■ Program Maximum: $5 Billion across all contracts for life of contracts (including all

options)

■ Decentralized Ordering

ADMC-2 Reports

■ All reports shall be emailed as attachments to: [email protected] or

as per most recent direction from CHESS, with a copy sent to the designated CHESS

Product Leader(s) and the contract POC(s) at ACC-RI.

The OT report is cumulative in nature. Each report shall include all

The equipment failure report shall be submitted on an as requested

basis. The report shall identify the product that failed, the reason for

failure, date the customer notified the contactor of the problem and the

date the problem was resolved.

The Electronic Subcontracting Reporting System was developed to

collect subcontracting accomplishments. The report is submitted

ADMC-3 Overview

■ Scope: Commodity purchases of commercial off-the-shelf desktops computers, integrated desktop

computers, workstations, notebooks, tablets, slates, electronic displays, thin clients, printers and

multifunction devices. Base contract for desktop and notebook Consolidated Buys (CBs). Three CBs

shall be run over the course of a year; one from 1 October through 31 January, 1 March through 30

June, and from 1 July through 30 September. Includes technology refreshment, replacement and new

technology provisions. Contractors shall have the opportunity to refresh product offerings before each

CB period.

■ Contract Type: Multiple award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ)

■ Number of Awards: 8 awards (up to 5 reserved for small business)

■ Award Date: 2Q FY17

■ Period of Performance: 4 Year Base; three 2- year options. Ten (10) year ordering period.

■ NAICS code: 33411 Electronic Computer Manufacturing, size standard of 1,000 employees.

■ Program Ceiling: $5 Billion

■ These contracts will be awarded to a set of lowest price technically acceptable

for the items identified. The suite of awarded contracts shall serve as an

overarching procurement vehicle for the Army Consolidated Buy (CB).
