Mrs. Rebecca Booker peacefully departed this life to claim her crown of righteousness on the fourth day of May,. 2002. Sl'z was born Nov. 25, 1916 in Columbia County, &A to the late Channie Anderson and the late Joseph Johnson. She wcs a faithful member of Piney Grove Baptist Church, where she ser ed as chief of the Usher Board for many years. She was married to the late Dea. Jerry Booker, Sr. To this union 10 children were born. Rebecca was preceded in death by two sons, James Booker and Dec. Jerry Booker, Jr.

‘che leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Dea, Charles Booker, Augusta, Seven daughters, Channie Wright, Mattie (Uvi) Bush, Fannie (Clifford) Williams, Martha (Gregory) Morris, All of Augusta Julia (Irving) Bartlett, Bronx, NY, Margaret Washington, Warner Robins, GA, Connie (Jerry) Earl, Columbia, SC, 36 grand children, 42 great-grand children, 3 daughlers-ih-Iaw, Betty Booker, Rev, Lucille Booker, both of Augusta, ton-rn-faw, Thomas Washington, 4 sisters-fn-Law, Nellie Booker, c:m.ma Hester, both of Augusta, Rose Booker, Charlotte, NC, Peer! Booker, Beeachwood, NJ, one brother-ir-Law, Edwin Booker, Augusta, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The Family wishes to thank 'heir many friends for the kindness shown them during their time of bereavement.
