Position: NDT Inspector

Main Responsibilities at RFO-6:

Interpretation of Radiographic Films. Marking and Preparation for TM of Piping. Visual Inspection of Welding. Reporting of RT DPT, MT and Hardness testing.

RT, MT & PT of conventional Island during RFO-6. Processing of Radiographic films.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Verify all the equipment’s / accessories / consumables to be utilized are having valid calibration / conformity certificates and are appropriate for use as per the approved procedures

Reporting all unsafe conditions, expire calibration, lost or damaged equipment and reject work instructions on ground of safety.

Carryout NDT (PT, MT, RT, and HARDNESS Testing) as per approved procedure / client specification requirements.

Follow site safety requirement / PTW requirements, proper barricading of RT area, prior to start of the work. Prepare report of inspection finding for submittal to client. Liaise directly with client / client Representative on job specific topics as when required. NDT Technicians during radiography by pipeline Crawler, Vacuum box test, Hardness test as per the instruction

from Supervisor. Install barricading, warning signs, warning lights as required by site conditions prior to start of radiography work. Caring for public health and safety. Responsible for identifying HSE Hazards in his area of operations, activities and subsequently minimizing

risk for loss prevention. Wherever required, assistance can be taken from QHSE in this regards. Close Coordination with Client and construction team for the timely closure of inspection related NCR and

other quality regarding matters Carryout welder Qualification Test as per procedure & welding inspection At various locations including Pipeline, Petro Chemicals, Power Plants and oil & gas fields.
