On the Go Time supports more than just the capture of time. It

displays all of your existing time entries entered for the current

week and allows you to easily navigate to previous weeks’ time for

further review and editing. Individual time entries can be edited,

including narrative edits, hour edits, and more. Key statistics for

each weekly period are easily viewed for your billable and non-

billable targets.

Offline Access

While on the go, you don’t always have a wireless or 3G connection.

On the Go Time supports entry and editing of time whether

online, connected to the firm’s website, or offline. Entries and

edits submitted while offline are seamlessly synchronized with the

Expert database when you next establish a connection. No action is

required by the user to upload these offline entries.

On the GO time cArd

The time card utilized by On the Go Time can be configured to

meet firm-specific data entry requirements, similar to time cards

available within Expert Time Management 8.0. To minimize

the maintenance of custom forms, Aderant Expert provides one

customization model that can be used for both SmartClient and

mobile form development.

hOw dOes it wOrk?

On the Go Time uses standards-based development technologies

including HTML 5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Applications developed

with these technologies allow for multi-platform deployment to

ensure commitment to numerous mobile platforms. As a result,

users gain a consistent experience across Apple, Android, Windows

Phone, and BlackBerry devices.

Providing user access is easy. Make the firm’s On the Go website

available over a secure connection (SSL or VPN). Users can easily

bookmark the page or add it to their home screen to simulate a

native application on the device.

Quick time cApture

On the Go Time promotes fast and easy capture of time on

both smartphone and tablet devices as well as web browser

applications. Completely embedded within Aderant Expert,

On the Go Time utilizes your recent matter list to minimize

searching and selection of the desired matter. Entries are fully

validated upon submission to minimize multiple touch points

for the same entry. There may be instances, however, where all

the required information is not yet available. On the Go Time

also supports entry of a placeholder matter name allowing you

to get the time recorded as a draft entry that can then be further

edited when time allows – either utilizing On the Go Time or

the SmartClient Expert Time application.

Additionally, spell checking and your user and firm defined

expansion codes support quick narrative entry and editing.
