Carpet is available in several styles and textures that can form the basis of your decorating plan.

The carpet pile is “looped”. This texture wears well and doesn’t show up footprints. Multilevel loop has a sculptured look, achieved with loops at different heights. Level loop has loops of uniform length. Textured loop achieves patterns by varying the height and weight of each loop.

Cut pile plushCut pile is achieved by cutting the tops of the loops so they stand upright and form an even surface. Plush pile carpets are made of dense and lightly twisted fiber, providing a smooth velvet or velour finish and that luxurious look.

Cut pile twistCut pile is achieved by cutting the tops of the loops so they stand upright and form an even surface. A twist uses very highly twisted yarn to achieve a crisp feel and more textured appearance. This hard wearing texture can minimise tracking and shading.

Carpet fiber and weight will determine the quality of your carpet. The better the fiber the better the carpet. Fiber defines how a carpet looks, feels and performs. The most common fiber types available are: wool, synthetics (Nylon, Polypropylene) and blends of the two.

Wool sets the standard for all carpet fibers. Its superiority stems from the complexity of the fiber developed by Mother Nature to protect sheep in all weather conditions. it is simply beautiful ‒ it feels and looks fantastic even-though it is expensive

Synthetic fiberADELCO uses Solution Dyed Nylon (SDN) and Polypropylene(PP) in its synthetic carpets. Each fiber has its advantages, and while both are synthetic they have similar properties. SDN is a durable, strong yet flexible fiber that is colorfast and stain resistant as it is appropriately treated. Polypropylene is a fatigue-resistant fiber that is colorfast and inherently stain resistant. Polypropylene is the cost-effective option over versatile Solu-tion Dyed Nylon.

BlendsBlends are created by combining wool and synthetic fibers in various percentages. Blending wool and synthetic fibers reduces fuzzing and shedding and will maintain the carpet’s appearance for a long time. At the same time wool blends offer the beautiful feel and natural look of wool which gives the value for money.
