Meetings shouldn’t take any longer than 20 minutes, please stay. Be sure to join us. Each year LOH plan activities that both ladies and men can participate in. Bring your ideas! Sunday, May 29th Bron’s Ride, Willunga. Sunday, Nov 6th Prissy’s Ride Club BBQ, Thorndon Park. All members and guests are welcome, encouraging all lady members whether riders or pillion passengers to join us. Refer to the Ride Calendar for more details. What is “Ladies of Harley”? Ladies of Harley (LOH) is a program sponsored by the Harley Owners Group to support women motorcycle enthusiasts (both riders and passengers). It is not a separate organization within HOG, but was established to encourage women to become more active in HOG and their local chapters. REMEMBER: You don’t have to have your own bike to be a member of LOH. We encourage ladies to participate in Chapter events as well as in functions specifically for ladies.
How do you become a member of “Ladies of Harley”?
You must first join HOG International as either an associate or full member, and then you can join our local chapter. Ladies of Harley membership also allows you to participate in all LOH activities at various HOG rallies and events. And there are no additional dues required to be a Ladies of Harley member. Ladies of Harley offers members a special embroidered patch and pin during the first year of membership, and each renewal year LOH members receive an LOH pin indicating the year of membership.
What do you need to do to join? The only requirement for membership is that you must be a member of HOG International, it don’t matter whether your HOG membership is a full, lifetime, or an associate membership. However, it’s not automatic. You must contact and tell them you’d like to be a member of LOH. Just call HOG 1800464258 or go to www.hog.com log into the members only area, then go to “update membership profile”. Just click yes option for LOH and your done! The LOH membership itself is FREE! After you’ve joined, you will receive a LOH embroidered patch and pin each year.
What's a “Ladies of Harley” sponsored event? These are Adelaide Chapter LOH ladies-sponsored rides and events. While the LOH Officer and members of LOH can organize events that may be more appealing to women, ALL members of the chapter are welcome to participate.
Want to have your say but are not keen to jump up at the monthly HOG meetings? Ever wanted to have your say or have your opinions, concerns or thankyous raised at the meetings? The number of ladies in the Chapter is growing so if you want to have input email Raisa. As the LOH Office she is happy to answer questions or raise any issues you may have, if not comfortable doing it yourself.
