POSTAL LETTERS Poczta Polska S.A. accepts non-registered letters and registered letters to all countries and territories of the world, with the exception of registered M bags addressed to Canada and the United States of America (USA).

1 it is not allowed to place items subject to customs duty; 2 the maximum value of sent currency may not be higher than the equivalent of 200 USD; the amount of payables in foreign currency may not exceed the equivalent of 200 USD; 3 it is not allowed to place cash and other valuables; 4 it is not allowed to place coins, banknotes, currency, any bearer securities and traveler's checks; 5 you should not place cash; 6 the maximum commercial value of content may not be higher than 630 SDR; it is not allowed to declare value lower than the commercial value of the mail; 7 it is not allowed to place cash, any bearer securities, travelers' checks, platinum, gold or silver, whether processed or not, precious stones, jewels and other valuables; 8 it is not allowed to place any cash; 9 it is not allowed to place coins, banknotes, bearer securities and traveler's checks; 10 it is not allowed to place any cash; 11 it is not allowed to place valid banknotes, bearer securities (checks) and foreign currency; 12 it is recommended that you do not place cash; 13 the maximum commercial value of content may not be greater than 1,000 SDR; 14 it is not allowed to place banknotes; 15 the maximum value of foreign currency sent to natural persons and the maximum value of checks in foreign currency issued to private individuals may not be greater than 300 USD or an amount equivalent to 300 USD in another currency converted at the official exchange rate of the hryvnia (UAH) established by the National Bank of Ukraine of the date of issue of the customs declaration; it is not allowed to send passports, identity cards and employment history logs.
SDR (SDR - in English, DTS - in French) - „Special Drawing Rights" - monetary unit of the International Monetary Fund applied in international postal relations. The rate of exchange of SDR to PLN (Polish zloty) is determined by the National Bank of Poland and provided in the table of exchange rates of this bank.
Section II
POSTAL PARCELS
EXPLANATORY NOTES 1. "Ww" - means that no dimension of a postal parcel may exceed 1.5 meters, and the sum of
length and the largest circumference measured in a different direction than length - 3 meters.
2. "Ww" - means that no dimension of a postal parcel may exceed 1.05 meters, and the sum of length and the largest circumference measured in a different direction than length - 2 meters.
3. "Ex" - means that express postal parcels are accepted.
4. Column 2 refers to both economy and priority postal parcels, unless different dimensions are stated in the column for economy postal parcels and different for priority postal parcels.
5. Value is stated in conventional currency SDR (DTS).
6. The estimated delivery times for priority postal parcels take into account processing time and customs clearance in the territory of Poland, duration of transport and delivery standards adopted in the country of destination (based on the Compendium of Delivery Standards of the Universal Postal Union), expressed in D + n, where D is the date of sending of a priority postal parcel before the time limit, i.e. by 15.00 hours nationwide, and n - is the number of working days between the date of sending and delivery. Blank column 7 indicates that there is no data on delivery standards of priority postal parcels in the given country or territory.

Section III POSTAL LETTERS AND POSTAL PARCELS
INFORMATION ON CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS REGARDING
CONTENTS 1. In all mail categories it is prohibited to send:
objects, which by reason of their nature or packaging could pose a hazard to workers, could soil or damage other mail or postal equipment or third party property;
controlled drugs and psychotropic substances, or other illegal intoxicants prohibited in the country of destination;
documents having the nature of current and personal correspondence exchanged between persons other than the sender and addressee or persons living with them;
explosives, flammable or incendiary materials, weapons or other hazardous goods;
disarmed explosive devices and military equipment, including disarmed grenades, projectiles and other similar objects, as well as replicas of these devices and objects;
radioactive substances and substances causing contamination;
indecent and immoral objects;
counterfeit objects and pirated copies;
objects, import of or trade in which is prohibited in the country of destination.
2. It is prohibited to place live animals in postal letters, with the exception of placing, in other mail than letters with declared value:
bees, bloodsuckers, silkworms;
parasites and destroyers of harmful insects, intended for fighting these insects, and exchanged between officially recognized institutions;
flies from the Drosophilidae family intended for conduct of biomedical research, exchanged between officially recognized institutions.
3. In all types of postal parcels it is prohibited to send:
correspondence, with the exception of archival materials, exchanged between persons other than the sender and addressee or persons living with them;
live animals.
4. It is prohibited to place in postal letters without declared value: coins, banknotes, currency or any bearer securities, travelers' checks, platinum, gold or silver, whether processed or not, precious stones, jewelry and other valuables.
5. It is prohibited to place in postal parcels without declared value, exchanged between countries accepting parcels with declared value: coins, banknotes, currency or any bearer securities, travelers' checks, platinum, gold or silver, whether processed or not, precious stones, jewelry and other valuables.
6. It is prohibited to place in priority mail aerosol containers, including for example deodorants and hair sprays.
7. Senders of letter post containing goods addressed to countries outside the European Union are required to list the contents in detail in a CN 22 or CN 23 customs declaration and to sign this document, certifying that their mail does not contain any hazardous objects prohibited by postal regulations.
8. Senders of postal parcels addressed to countries outside the European Union are required to list the contents in detail using the form - file CP 72. Senders of all postal parcels (regardless
of the country of destination) are required to sign this document, certifying that their parcels do not contain any hazardous objects prohibited by postal regulations.

* Postal letters subject to customs control should be provided with a CN 22 customs declaration. It is prohibited to send products in new or used cartons designed to carry fruit, vegetables or eggs. Only on import authorization issued by Australian inspection services it is possible to send meat products in preserves (including canned pâté).
