After checking, and if necessary, adjusting, floatlevel to ensure it is exactly .080" below the bowlgasket surface, the staff at British Cycle Supplyhas found that gently staking the float pivot pin inposition with a centerpunch in two spots, as notedin figure 1, is very important. This stops the floatpivot pin from moving at all in the bowl, but stillallows the float to pivot on the pin, thus maintain-ing the float setting and preventing the needlefrom cocking and sticking. We recommendperforming all the work noted in this servicebulletin on all Concentrics, even new ones. Bevery careful, to avoid damaging seat or bowl.
