Isiah works hard in all that he does and he shows a sincere desire to do his best. He is supportive of others and positive. He is an example of what we look for in our students at Addison High School.”

“Marcus is respectful, hardworking, and self-motivated student. He is currently earning a B+ in my class. He is always kind and respectful to both his classmates and me. He always has a smile on his face and doesn‟t let things get him down. He has turned in every assignment and has a driveto do well. He has not missed a single day this trimester. Marcus is also an outstanding athlete. He is currently individually ranked in the state for wrestling.”

“Taylor is an honor to have in class. She volunteers to go to the board daily, as well as help others around her. She asks questions to better understand the materials. She gives 100% everyday. She emails me if she doesn‟t understand something or if she forgets to hand something in. She goes above and beyond to help herself and others.”

“Jamie works very hard every day to maintain straight A‟s in all of her classes. Jamie always has a positive attitude and works well with other students. She works at several different jobs around campus diligently and cheerfully. I can always count on her honesty and she is always eager to learn.”

“Courtney has shown tremendous dedication to Sophomore English by coming in on her own time with questions and to receive tutoring. She has raised her level of participation from first tri and has turned in all assignments, not only on time, but done with excellent quality. Her hard work puts her at a 94% (A) currently.”

“Derek is constantly helpful to myself and others in band. I have also observed him going beyond what I expected of him in his classroom efforts. I have also observed Derek helping out Rodger with tasks. I feel that Derek has a sense of community pride. He is always punctual not only in class, but also to band events.”

Waid“Alyssa has continued to work hard in Pre Calc even though it doesn‟t come naturally to her. The results are finally starting to show. She has a 93% in class because of her hard work and determination. She is also involved in Key Club, Student Assembly, and Cheerleading. She is always smiling and ready to do her best when she enters class.”

“Zack McClure has received 100% on both the mineral and rock tests. He has studied during his lunch period on numerous occasions. I have witnessed him helping other students to learn (tricks) to remember the names. He is also part of the Student Assembly and the Basketball team this winter.”

Bruner“Jared is not only a great student, but goes out of his way to help others. Jared has one of the top grades in zoology. He also works very well with younger students as he mentors/tutors middle school students. When setting up a buddies program in the elementary, Jared volunteered to work with an autistic student and be more of a „Big Brother‟.”

“Autumn works hard both in the classroom and on the [basketball] court. She is a strong leader. She helps others willingly and without being asked. Autumn is pleasant to talk with, outgoing, and a hard worker.”

“She always arrives on time and is ready for any challenge that is presented in class. She always gives her best effort in class. She also always stays busy and encourages other students to do their best as well.”
