Adding Music to the video

This slideshow will demonstrate how we as a group added music into our video.

Step 1• The first step to adding the music into the video was to go onto

YouTube and find the desired music that we needed. In this case the song was “Tbam – Halfway” as seen below.

Step 2• The next step was to go to http://www.youtube-mp3.org/ and copy the web address from the YouTube video, and place it into the search bar. Once the address it put into the search bar we then click “Convert

Video” this will then convert the video into an MP3 file, which can then import into Adobe Premiere, and then click “Download”

Step 3• Once the download is complete the file will be in the bottom left hand

corner of the webpage, we then right click on the file and click “Show in folder”, this will then take us to the downloads where we can then

move the file to the desktop, so it is far easier to find when importing.

Step 4• The next step was importing the music into Adobe Premiere. To do this we had the sequence that we were editing open, we then went to “File” and then “import”. We then had to find the file that we wanted to import. Once imported it was then available to add from the side

bar, so all we had to do was click and drag the file onto an audio line.

Step 5• Once imported we then used the Rolling Edit tool in order to shorten

the music to a specific point that we wanted.

Step 6• Once the music was shortened to the part we wanted, we then had to

sync the video footage to the audio footage so the actor looked like he was actually singing the correct lyrics. This was the most time

consuming as we were continuously going back and forth in order to sync it up as accurately as possible.
