EV3 Addendum to Mr. Robot I Addendum to Mr. Robot Addendum to Mr. Robot build instructions on how to attach the new LEGO EV3 programmable brick to Mr. Robot. The LEGO® NXT Brick has been replaced by the EV3 Brick. Mr. Robot now ships with EV3 and a newer-style wireless controller and sensor module. The controller is a wireless Sony PlayStation® 2 gamepad and can connect to EV3 through a specialized sensor included in your kit. Your EV3 is preprogrammed to work out of the box. No additional programming is necessary. Simply connect the wireless controller sensor module to Port 2. The wireless controller and receiver will need to be paired. Follow the instructions in this addendum to pair your controller and receiver. The attachment of the EV3 Brick is very simple and is shown in this addendum. Steps throughout the original build instructions show how to attach the NXT Brick; however, those can be ignored. Instead, please refer to the views in this addendum to attach the EV3. NXT touch sensors shown in the instructions are no longer compatible with the EV3 system. Any steps shown in the build instructions relating to mounting of sensors can be skipped. The program to operate Mr. Robot is preinstalled on the EV3 Brick. Find and run the program Mr. Robot to begin using.

http://mindsensors.com/pdfs/PSP-Nx-v4-User-Guide.pdf

Ensure that you have inserted batteries in the Joystick. And the power switch on your joystick is in ON position. Adjacent picture will show you the location of the power switch.Adjacent picture shows how to connect PSP-Nx-v4 to the receiver. Ensure that the receiver is engaged in correct orientation, and is fully inserted in the PSP-Nx-v4 socket.

PSP-Nx-v4 light

Connect PSP-Nx-v4 to NXT and connect the Receiver to PSP-Nx. Power on the NXT/EV3 (do not run any program yet). A blinking Blue light on PSP-Nx means, the receiver is not connected properly to PSP-Nx. If the receiver is connected properly to PSP-Nx, and NXT/EV3 is powered ON (without running any program), PSP-Nx will have no lights. Adjacent picture shows location of the light on PSP-Nx-v4.
