II. GENERAL CLARIFICATIONS:

1. Bleacher Foundation Spoils: Foundations spoils generated by the Owner’s Bleacher vendor have been stockpiled in the northeast corner of the site beyond the visitor parking area for the visitor side and are currently being stockpiled adjacent to the field house area on the home side. The General Contractor shall be responsible for removal and disposal of these soils off the Owner’s property. For bidding purposes, the bidder is to assume a total quantity of 200 CYD of material for haul off and disposal. Any amount above or below this amount will be negotiated for a contract adjustment, if necessary, after final quantities are confirmed.

III. CHANGES TO DIVISION ONE SPECIFICATIONS:

valid requirement. The existing trench drain covers are to be replaced with same type as are now installed.

2. Sheet AS1.4 – Sections 2/AS1.4 & 3/AS1.4– Footing dimensions to be 2’-0” wide x 1’-0” deep. Reinforcing as called for in detail. The front rail post is part of the bleachers and not part of this contract. Change the brick veneer to be Modular size brick, same color as used for the new buildings. The top and end returns will be a full brick and a half brick with no cut ends exposed. Full brick towards field.

3. Sheets A1.00 – See Bulletin Drawing ABD-2 for wall section for existing building.

4. Sheet A5.00 – See Bulletin Drawing ABD-1 for clarifications to Section 3/A5.00 - Ticket

5. Sheet S2.00 – Section 3/S2.00 – Rebar size for the two bars shown above the #6 dowels in this section will be 2 #4 bars continuous.

6. Sheet LS1.0 – Delete reference to Alternate No. 1 on the East & West ends of the field. There is not an Alternate No. 1.


7. Sheet E101 - Provide eight (8) type W6E lighting fixtures for the existing concessions building. Locate on new exterior veneer wall as directed by the Architect. Location of lights to be as follows: 2 on each end, 2 on side facing Lower Richland Boulevard and 2 above the serving windows on the field side. Connect to the existing lighting circuit. Time clock control. Provide additional unswitched conductor for battery backup.

Provide one (1) type W2E lighting fixture for the existing concessions building. Locate above egress door from Concession E06. See A1.00 for door E07. Connect to the existing lighting circuit. Time clock control along with fixtures W6E provided. Provide additional unswitched conductor for battery backup. Add one (1) X1W light fixture in the Concession E06 to be located near FACP on the ceiling. Connect to nearest existing lighting circuit. Provide additional unswitched conductor for battery backup.

V. APPROVED EQUALS: The following Manufactures have met requirements for prior approval for substitution of specified

materials/products. Approved products must meet all specifications set forth in the Project Manual unless noted otherwise here in this addendum.
