This addendum refers to changes and additions to the original contract documents and is to be read in conjunction with it. All other parts of the original contract documents are to be considered as applying to the work of this contract with the exception of the changes as noted below.�

Refer to tender Drawings E0.1, E1.1, E1.3, E3.1, and attached new sketches SK-E01 to SK-E05: 1. Note: Key note #4 now is shown in drawing E1.1 as shown in attached new sketch SK-E01.

2. Add: Lights is Corridor and offices ( type F1) are now revised in following ways,

-Offices type F1, 2’x4’ direct/indirect basket, 3 lamp T8, -Corridors, new type F1A same as F1 only 2 lamp T8, See SK-E02, SK-E03 & SK-E04.

3. Note: Light fixture type (F6) model number now is revised to match specified description as shown in attached new sketch SK-E04.

4. Gal Power may bid for project natural gas generator including the ATS.

5. Add: MOE approval of this generator is required to be performed by an environmental engineer; and this electrical sub contractor will include in his bid price related fees and expenses required for MOE approval. See attached new sketch SK-E05.

Response to RFI (RFI questionnaires are attached) I. RFI #1

1) DP- H, is 250A, 600V 3 phase 4 wire, I sc. 20kA panel. 2) 4 numbers, see Add-E03- SK-E09. 3) Not known, possibly 150 kVA. 4) KIM Lighting 5) Light fixture in elevator 101 has been deleted; see Add-e03, SK-E03.

6) Light fixtures in rest area have been revised to (W2) & (D4); see Add-E02, SK-E04 & SK-E05. 7) Description of Transfer Switch now is shown; see�Add E03. It will be 200A, 600V 3 Pole SN ( solid

neutral), double bypass, contactors or circuit breakers, indoor mount sprinkler proof, with auxiliary contacts for generator, and building automation and fire alarm.

8) Disconnect switch for roof equipments ERV-1, 2, RTU-1, 2 have been revised to 30A3P WP. 9) Motor starters are now revised to fused disconnect switch; see Add-E03 10) Typical general purpose and contactor cut sheet attached herewith. 11) These two detectors in APPARATUS have now been deleted; see Add-E03, SK-E05. 12) Note 13 is now deleted in dwg E1.2 and now it has been shown in second floor dwg E1.4 it is apply

for IT room; see Add-E03. 13) This note has been deleted; see Add-E03. 14) Location of the Bell Canada/ Cable TV Pedestal is required to be verified at the site by the electrical

sub contractor and the Antenna Tower note is now deleted; see Add-E03. 15) Spec. 16010, 1.23 Tests: Ensure that installed system is free of ground faults, and each electrical

outlet provides adequate ground continuity. Short circuit studies, arch flash studies have not been included.

16) It shall be one transfer switch. One ATS as shown in dwg E3.0; see Add-E03. 17) CF-1 had been deleted; see Add-E02. 18) DIV. 16 only to provide rough in conduit and wiring. 19) This shall be 2x4”, see Add-E03. 20) Approximate location of utility pole now is shown in E0.1; see Add-E03. 21) This note has been deleted; see Add-E03. 22) Note has been revised in dwg. E4.0; see Add-E03. II. RFI #2 1) Security Panel location possibly is in the IT room. 2) New hand dryer in Washroom (158) including circuit connections have been added; see Add-E04. 3) Building has substantial data tray, and speaker system wiring will run on data tray,

We figure no conduit is required.

4) Data System: Only conduit, conduit box, J hook, and tray, no data wiring. See ADD E04. 5) Hydro pole on truck route, this city light pole, and city will decide on it, possibly by some cash allowance

with GC. III. TENDER QUESTIONS

1) Auto Transfer Switch – specifications are required

‐ Description provided in ADD E3 2) 2 fire alarm initiating devices are indicated in the apparatus area between GL 4-5 and 9-10 between C

& D. Please provide specs. ‐ We have deleted this now SEE ADD E03

3) Are the brackets/mounting hardware for the CCTV included with the supplier along with the equipment /wiring is only an empty conduit system connected to the basket tray is to be provided in this contract ‐ Provide only the BASKET TRAY, with its mounting hardware only

4) What sound level of the generator enclosure is required to achieve?

Add: The generator shall be in a sound attenuated weather proof enclosure. Note, the screen wall shown on the site plan (E0.1) around the generator has only visual application (not for acoustic treatment of generator noise). To meet the MOE EASR eligibility requirements, a generator located outside in an acoustical enclosure should have a sound pressure level, as specified by the manufacturer of the unit, that is less than 75 decibels (A-weighted) at a distance of seven meters from the unit. MOE approval of this generator is required to be performed by an environmental engineer; and this electrical sub contractor will include in his bid price related fees and expenses required for MOE approval.

1) Specification 16426-2.2.1 indicates 600A 600/347V service entrance switchboard and DWG E3.0

single line diagram shows 250A, 600V circuit panel. Which is correct? 2) Please indicate number of 250MCM AL cables in conduit at the secondary of utility provided

transformer on DWG E3.0? 3) What is the kVA rating of the utility provided transformer? 4) What is the name of the manufacturer for W2 fixture on DWG E3.1? 5) DWG E1.1 Ground Floor Lighting Plan: What is the fixture type in Elevator 101? 6) DWG E1.3 Second Floor Lighting Plan: There is a light fixture in Rest Area 205 as a type F8 fixture

but there isn’t one on the light schedule. Please clarify. 7) DWG E3.0 Single Line Diagram & Panel Schedules: Is there a specification for the ATS? 8) DWG E1.5 Roof Electrical Plan: Equipment ERV-1,2, RTU-1 and 2 indicate 60A WP disconnect

switches but DWG E3.0 Single Line Diagram indicates 30A WP disconnect switches. Which is correct?

9) DWG E3.0 Single Line Diagram: Please provide specification for the combination motor starter fusible disconnect switch for compressor 1 and 2.

10) DWG E3.0 Panel Schedules: Please provide specification on all relays/contactors connected to the electrical panels on this DWG and controlled by fire alarm system.

11) DWG E1.2 Ground Floor Power Plan shows two ceiling mounted detectors that are not in the legend. Please clarify.

12) DWG E1.2 Ground Floor Power Plan: Note 13 indicates service box for power and data but it is not shown on the drawings. If required please indicate locations.

13) DWG E1.2 Ground Floor Power Plan: Refer to Note 10. Please provide location of welding outlet and disconnect switch as this note or devices are not shown anywhere.

14) DWG E0.1 Electrical Site Plan: Refer to Note 5 and 6. Please provide location of the Bell Canada/Cable TV Pedestal and the Antenna Tower Dispatch Radio System.

15) Specification 16010 1.23 Tests: Please clarify what is required for the grounding test and if there are more requirements for the distribution test.

16) Specification 16622 1.1.1 Engine Generator Specification: Indications of two transfer switches involved. But there is only one indicated in the electrical drawings. Please clarify.

17) DWG E1.2 Ground Floor Plan: What is CF-1 in Hose Tower 151? And where is it fed from? 18) DWG E1.2 Ground Power Plan: Refer to overhead door operators in Apparatus room 150: Please

provide control wiring requirements for these operators. 19) DWG E0.2 Electrical Details: Detail 4: Indicates 1 – 125mm duct and 1 – 100mm duct for the

secondary duct bank. DWG E3.0 Single Line Diagram indicates 2 – 4” Ducts. Which is correct? 20) DWG E3.0 Single Line Diagram: Note 1: Indicates providing primary ducting to utility pole. No

utility pole is shown on DWG E0.1 Electrical Site Plan. Please show location. 21) DWG E0.1 Electrical Site Plan: Note 6: Where is the duct bank location for the antenna tower

dispatch radio system? 22) DWG E0.2 Electrical Details: Detail 5: Indicates the use of J hooks for the data cable and EMT

1) DWG E4.0 Fire Alarm System Riser Diagram: Where is the location of the security panel for

fire alarm connection? 2) Addendum 3 DWG A900 and A901 indicate the addition of electric hand dryers but have no

electrical connections and no hand dryers have been added to electrical drawings. Who is to provide this?

3) Is DIV 16 to provide any conduit system for the owner provided PA system? 4) DWG E0.2 Electrical Details: Detail 5: Indicates data/telephone outlet box complete with

data cable and faceplate. And specification 16741 communications system indicates provide new outlets, conduits, data trays, pull boxes, sleeves, plywood backboards required for a functional system. And DWG E0.1 Electrical Legend indicates conduit box and conduit riser/run, 1” EMT only. Is DIV 16 to provide IT wiring as well? No details?

5) DWG E0.1 Electrical Site Plan: Who is to remove the existing hydro pole from the truck route? And is there only a standalone pole and no wiring? DWG SP1 Site Plan refers to electrical for HP removal and relocation. Please clarify and provide more details.
