PROJECT BID PACKAGE
This Addendum shall take precedence over the plans, specifications or previous addenda for this project, and becomes a part of the contract documents for this project. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum as indicated on the proposal form.
This addendum modifies the Contract Documents as follows:
BID PACKAGES:
• Bid Package 5C – Remove responsibility for Cast Metal Panels (P358). These will be provided by interior designer and installed by cabinet bid package.
• Bid Package 5C - P325 Stainless Steel shown at Restaurant Expo Bar on details 13/!D502 and sheet ID 709 shall be furnished and installed by this bid package. Plywood substrate to be included as part of Bid Package 6B.
• Bid Package 6B – Cast Metal Panels (P358) shall be furnished by Interior Designer to successful cabinet bidder and installed as part of Bid Package 6B.
• Bid Package 6B - Supply and install complete Rathskeller partition per details 1 and 2 / ID 700. Include support wall, wall finishes, foot rest, caulking, and countertop. 4” Stainless Steel toekick is by others. Coordinate with Construction Manager for anchoring and power requirements.
• Bid Package 6B - Supply additional running trim per details 11,12, and 13/ID700 for installation by others where not attached to casework supplied under this bid package. An example would be P115 (wall base) on detail 1/ID500. Where trim profiles are applied over cabinets, they shall be furnished and installed as part of this Bid Package 6B. Paint grade door casing called out as mark GR302 shall be furnished and installed by others.
• Bid Package 6B – Furnish and install acrylic panels shown on ID 707.

• Bid Package 7A – On Item 12, revise reference to R-20 to read, “R-30”. • Bid Package 7E – Exterior rigid insulation, whether base layer or build-up as shown on
exterior elevations, shall be furnished and installed for own work. Rigid insulation behind cement board and steel sidings shall be furnished and installed by others.
• Bid Package 9A – All wood cabinets, shelving, wine racks and wood paneling shall be shop finished by others under Bid Package 6B. All running trim shall be field finished by this Bid Package 9A.
• Bid Package 9A - Delete wall coverings from the title of this bid package. Wall Coverings are by others under Bid Package 9E.
• Bid Package 9A – Supply and install all pre-wall covering primer at areas to receive wall covering by others. Coordinate with wall covering installer for compatibility of materials used.
• Bid Package 9C – include all “millwork rubber base” shown or specified. Wood base profiles and stainless steel toekicks shall be furnished and installed by others.
• Bid Package 9E – Under Item 2, delete requirement for primer. Pre-wall covering primer shall be furnished and installed by others under Bid Package 9A. Coordinate with painting contractor to ensure compatibility with finished wall covering.
• Bid Package 14A – Polished bronze logo per detail 5/A8.2 shall be furnished and installed by others as an adhesively applied item.
GENERAL CLARIFICATIONS:
• Aluminum Doors and window frames to be Dark Bronze Anodized U.N.O. on door or window types or schedules
• Exterior Steel Doors & Frames to be painted Black.
• Exterior Mechanical Room 823 finish found on A2.3
• Finish details for 9th floor screenwalls and planters found on A5.42 & A5.43
• Restroom 902 Plumbing Fixtures and Specialties located on Plumbing Fixture Schedule
and Specialties Schedule located in Spec. Book Volume I (controlling document) as well as M7.2
• Transitions from wallcovering at Guestroom Corridors to accent wallcovering at Guestroom

• The Acoustical Ballroom Ceiling panel sizing, spacing, quantities, etc. can be modified
from the dimensions shown on A 1.8 at the discretion of the bidder. Please note if any modifications from the dimensions occur in the bid number.
• The Sound Isolation Design Guidelines are found in Volume III of the specifications, NOT
Volume IV
• Resilient Isolation Clips (RIC’s) as shown on 1/A5.16 are used in the ceiling assemblies as shown on the Reflective Ceiling Plans (RCP’s) A1.6-A1.13. The RIC’s are used only between the 2nd level ceiling and 3rd level floor and shown on A1.8. RIC’s to be spaced per actual manufacturer selected. Resilient and Hat channel to be used in assemblies as shown on the RCP’s.
