GENERAL:
AD2.01.01 In specification section 26 95 00 paragraph 3.04 SPARE PARTS – Remove Subparagraph A. Provide spare parts
as listed: (6) horn/strobes, (6) strobe only, (6) smoke detectors, (4) monitoring modules, (2) pull station, (2) duct
smoke detectors. No spare parts are required as part of the bid documents.
02 ARCHITECTURAL:
AD2.02.01 On sheet AD1.11 amend keynote 18 to read as follows:
DEMOLISH INTAKE DUCT & LOUVER AT MEZZANINE LEVEL. SEE STRUCTURAL DETAIL ON SHEET A1.51
– ADDITIONAL CUTTING OF THE DECK AND CONCRETE SLAB IS REQUIRED AT MEZZANINE SLAB IS
REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION OF INFILL DECK AND SLAB.
Only the ductwork is to be removed. The Louver in the exterior wall is to remain as is.

06 HVAC:
AD2.06.01 Refer to sketch AD2.M01 attached to this addendum for updates to both the keynotes on sheet M2.1 and the Roof
Top Unit Schedule on sheet M3.0. There were discrepancies between the model numbers assigned to each
alternate, and base bid. This information is to supersede all information provided in Addenda number 1 as it
relates to these roof top unites and the addition of alternate #8.
ELECTRICAL / FIRE ALARM:
AD2.06.02 Amend Keynote #1 on Sheet E5.1 to read: THE EXISTING FIRE ALARM SYSTEM IS A SILENT KNIGHT AN FCI
72 CONVENTIONALLY ZONED SYSTEM, THE SYSTEM COMPONENTS ARE NOT ADDRESSABLE, PROVIDE
A NEW NAC PANEL AS SHOWN FOR THE NEW DEVICES.
AD2.06.03 Update drawing E5.1 to include the following items:
• Provide a smoke detector over the existing annunciator panel at Vestibule 101.
• Provide a smoke detector over the power supply in the Mezzanine Closet over Garage 202
• Provide a smoke detector over the Garage 202 truck bay fire alarm power supply.
• The duct smoke detector in the corridor outside room 126 is currently non-functioning and is to be replaced
under the base bid.
• Provide and install a new heat detector in the sprinkler room to replace the existing device.
• Provide and install a new heat detector in the Electrical Room to replace the existing device.
• Replace the existing strobe light device only in Room 174.
AD2.06.04 The Fire Alarm Contractor is to provide a new FCI conventional 4-zone card in the existing FACP to provide a new
zone for the new Guardian Hood system in the new Kitchen/café area.
AD2.06.05 The existing Fire Alarm notification devices are by Cooper-Wheelock, the new devices shall be compatible and
synchronized with the existing devices.
07 ADDITIONAL BIDDERS’ QUESTIONS
AD2.07.01 Question: Can you please clarify if Alternate #8 noted in Addendum #1 replaces Alternate #7 on the bid form?
Answer: No. Alternate #8 is in addition to #7. Alternate #7 is for replacing the existing RTU-2 with a new RTU
Daikin RPS020D model. Alternate #8 is for replacing the existing RTU-2 with a Daikin DPS 020A Roof top unit
with DX cooling, gas heat and heat pump.
AD2.07.02 Question: Is the area above the dropped ceiling a plenum or non-plenum environment? Answer: It is non-
plenum. All returns are ducted.
