Recent Spall liner projects for Scanfiber

Wisent (Armoured Recovery Vehicle)The Wisent is based on the chassis of the Leopard I tank. The ARV is in service in the Royal Danish army. Scanfiber has provided the extended armouring for the vehicle, which was a spall liner made from fiberglass. The spall liner secures an increase protection of personnel and interior with very low added weight.

Spall LinersScanfiber spall liners are produced in either: Dyneema, Aramid or Fiberglass. The composite spall liners eliminates or decreases the danger from spall. It reduces the number of frag-ments and narrows the angle by which the spall is spread into the cabin.
