• Being developed as a multi-purpose port, it lies 270 km north of Mumbai and 35 km from the city of Surat – Location provides access to industrial zones in South Gujarat, Maharashtra & MP
• Under Phase I development, the port already has two Container berths and one multi-purpose berth operational – The fully developed port will have 13 berths, including three for handling liquid cargo
• The port will attract cargo that is currently facing severe congestion at the Mumbai ports
