Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
As I write this letter the Summer days are getting shorter and Fall is right around the corner. It is amazing how fast life goes. Praise the Lord he has delivered us from this present evil world and we have hope of eternal life! Our health is doing better and we stayed busy serving the Lord here in Eastern Europe.
Evangelism and Church Every week we go out telling people that Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried and arose from the grave to pay for their sins. Some people understand this, but many simple do not. Rodica was talking to a nice older man last week, and after a 15 minutes of conversation he still did not quite understand. Since we are there every week there is a high possibility we will talk with him again. Please continue to pray God will open the eyes of the people. It is so very sad to see how strong a hold Orthodoxy has on people.
Another blessing is that we received a phone call from a lady who received a tract over two years ago in Fagaras! Rodica talked with her several times on the phone for a few hours. We sent her a Bible, books and tracts. Please pray she will get saved, her name is Doina.
Dan has continued to be a blessing to us and is faithful to church! We have talked and he has a real desire to grow in his life. He has asked that you pray for him, he needs a job and victory over anxiety and panic attacks. Thank you for keeping him in prayer!
Dan Reed Family Are Coming The Reed family will be arriving September 12th Lord willing! I have secured an apartment for them and my lawyer is waiting to start their visa application. We are very excited to have them work with us. We all have our gift and talents and I am looking forward to having Dan as my partner. I believe he will fill in some of the skills that I lack. Please continue to pray they can raise the additional support they need as well as start-up costs.
