•2006 In late 2006 there was what would be the first contact between the founder members of this

Association, motivated by the concern making available to professionals with limited

experience and expertise in specific areas of engineering to the current working life in the

region. Doing this through an organization to maintain affordable costs plus the flexibility to

support educational institutions and business associations such as Canacintra ANIRAC,

CMCI, Canaco, Etc.

•2008 After several attempts to launch the business, on July of 2008 after a meeting at a café place

in Hermosillo, Sonora between the founder members, it was decided to sample the market, in

order to capture and identify the real need. To do this we made a campaign in press and via

emails with contacts in industrial Companies from Hermosillo, Nogales, Guaymas and

Empalme. Thereby detecting the need for practitioners who already were working to have their

own scope and training systems in industrial engineering techniques, as well as covering

aspects in areas of Quality, Manufacturing and general aspects of professional development

industrial engineers or professionals in the industry.

Motivated by this need captured, the founder members of the Association decided to launch as

part of its first activities a Green Belt Certification, tool that combines the knowledge of two

great tools that used today such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma as a tool for improving

and maximizing resources in companies.

It was an excellent response due to the amount of people seeing our advertising in major

newspapers and Internet sites, requested information.

The need is detected

Achieve the collaboration of the Technological Institute of Hermosillo, and put within reach of

teachers and students of the Institute this training program. For this purpose launched an

very foundation of the association, payment of the advertising, equipment purchases, payment

for materials, food for participants and instructors, coffee break and pay the website.
