All application code runs on the server – which can be deployed on premise or at a secure datacenter

Each session is authenticated and all communication is encrypted without the need for a VPN

Data is stored on the server and encrypted. The only access to sensitive data is through the business logic.

How Acumatica Works


1. Client opens browser and logs into application using secure login.

2. Acumatica sends JavaScript with field validation logic and static classes to browser.

3. Client uses GUI to request data, reports, or dashboards.

4. Acumatica sends only the data that was requested – static HTML and business logic are cached at the browser.

5. Data entered or changed by user is sent back to Acumatica for complete validation and writing to database.

users click a help button, they are immediately taken to relevant information. Users can change help information with little effort.

Article History A history of each article is kept so users can see and verify recent changes.

Article Status Maintain draft versions, reviewed versions, and published versions of articles to create workflows and approvals for article publication.

Wikis provide help for each screen. Users can easily customize the wiki to document specific issues and concerns for their organization.

Restriction Group Restriction groups allow you to create a role that can only view specific data or can view all data except specific data.
