Liam Neeson was born June 7, 1952 in Ballymena, North Ireland.He worked at various jobs before he started acting. Originallyintending to be a teacher, Neeson joined the Belfast LyricPlayers Theater. He made his debut in the play, The RisenPeople. Two years after that he moved to Dublin Abbey Theaterwhere he was discovered by John Boormen and was cast in thefilm Excalibur (1981) as Sir Gawain, his first high profile role.From 1980 to 1990, Neeson made appearances in U.K. films andsome TV shows. It wasnt until 1990 that Neeson was cast in hisfirst staring roll as the Darkman in Darkman. This all led toNeeson being cast as Oskar Schindler in Schindlers List. Heearned the Academy Award for best actor and was nominated fora Golden Globe in the best actor category for this film. Anotherbig turning point in Neesons career and personal life would be

his Broadway debut with the Tony nominated performance ofAnna Christie, where he costarred with his late wife, NatashaRichardson. As years went by, Neeson was solidified as one ofHollywoods top leading men with movies including Taken and canbe currently seen in Non-Stop.

Darkman starts with a gang showdown. The maincharacter, Payton (Liam Neeson), is in his lab tryingto find a new way to graph skin. He fails. Paytonsgirlfriend finds a memo about a shady building permitand gives it to Payton to hold on to. A gangster froma business tries to take back the memo and attemptsto kill Payton by blowing up his home. All does notgo as planned when Payton (dead to the world) showsup alive in a hospital badly burned and scarred.Payton escapes the hospital in a blind fury and tracks

down his lab equipment. He then finds out he canregenerate his skin back to normal, but only for 99minutes. He uses this new power to track downand kill the gangsters who tried to kill him. He killsthe gangsters and starts a new life as Darkman.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, an evil trade federationis planning on taking over the planet of Naboo. The only thingthat can stop them is the Jedi Knights. Two knights, Qui-Gon Jinn(Liam Neeson) and Obi-Won Kenobi, are sent to confront theleaders of the federation , but all doesnt go as planned and theymust escape. On the escape they encounter a new companion,Jar=Jar Binks. The Jedi Knights, along with their new friend,head to Naboo to warn Queen Amidala, but alas, it is too late asdroids have already started to take over the planet and thequeen is no longer safe. The warning mission has turned into arescue mission. Once they rescued Queen Amidala, the partytook refuge on the distant planet of Tatooine. While on theplanet they meet young Anakin Skywalker who proves to beblessed with the force (which gives Jedi Knights their power).

They recruit Anakin for the war. As all this is happening, in theshadows, lurks the Jedis greatest enemy, Darth Maul. OnceDarth Maul reveals himself, an epic battle takes place where Qui-Gon Jinn is slain in battle and Obi-Won finishes Darth Maul offwith a swift swing of his Light Saber.

The movie begins with your average Joe, or in the case, Emmet.We discover that Emmet is just part of the system and goes towork and tries to fit in. He really has no friends. After work oneday, Emmet sees a girl (Lucy) looking for a special artifact and hefollows her. Well, poor old Emmet falls down a hole anddiscovers the artifact. Then he blacks out. Emmet wakes up inan interrogation room with Bad Cop (voice of Liam Neeson).Suddenly Lucy busts him out and tells him that he is the specialand that he is the most interesting, likeable, special man in theworld and he must save the world from the evil Mr. Business.Emmet and Lucy meet up with Vitruvius and Emmet startstraining to become the best master builder. When Emmet meetswith the master builders he is rejected as the special. Emmet,Lucy, and Vitruvius do some soul searching.( During this whole

process, Bad Cop is chasing Emmet.) They are able to convincethe master builders that Emmet is the special. Emmet, Lucy,Vitruvius, and the master builders join forces to stop Mr. Businessfrom using an evil super weapon. After a failed attempt, theyregroup and try again. This time they are successful and all ispeaceful and happy in Lego Land.

Liam Neeson is usually an action hero who plays

the tough guy and gets results. Neesons

imposing size and expressive face contribute to

his style of acting. In Taken he is an ex CIA agent

who beats his way to his daughter, who has beenkidnapped. In his current film, Non-Stop he is a

U. S. air marshal who must solve a mystery on

board an airplane. Neeson hasnt always been

the bad ass. He played sensitive roles inmovies like ShindlersList, Nell, and Ethan

Fromm. These two styles combine to form what

we know of Liam Neeson as an actor today.

Liam Neeson, being mostly an action star, is

supported by intense music and silence to

build tension. The combination of silence and

loud, intense sound is common in the actionindustry. Neeson also has his soft side which

is reflected in sappy and romantic music as

heard in the love scenes in Darkman and

Taken. Neeson has worked with some of the

industrys greatest composers like Danny

Elfman (Darkman) and John Williams (Star

Wars).

Over the Corse of the years, Liam has evolvedinto an actor who can play the tough guy, butalso the sensitive guy. Like in DarkMan, He was aloving boyfriend in the begging scene in theapartment, but once he found the old

abandoned warehouse, he became a tough guy.But then there was Star Wars, in the scenewhere Qui-Gon and Obi-Won were prepairing forthe rescue mission, Qui-Gon was being thementor for Obi-Won. Or even in TakenWhere

Liam plays the loving father in the first scenes,but as the movie progresses shows the tough guyagain. Over all Liam will always be the tough guyand I dont think we would have it any otherway.
