John Harwood – Martin Halls - Aged 19

This is Martin Halls, the person I have chosen to be my main character, John within my music video , I am very confident with the choice of having Martin as my main character as he has previous actor experience, for example some short films in other students media pieces and GSCE Drama. His ability to learn lines and his extremely mature look will bring perfect attributes to the job. Overall I want to get across to the audience that this accident was random and could have happened to anyone, never mind who you are. And this is why I chosen martin has a very down to earth feel and hold this parental effect. This I will let me portray him as an average Dad which hopefully the mass audience can relate to. The audience can tell by the cheeky smile on the character that he has a fun side however this won’t really come out in the music video due to the fact that the music video is somewhat dark and only reveals small lights of hope towards the end where we will see the character overcome his grief. Mr Hall’s build is above average showing that he keeps good maintenance of his body which can connote to the audience he still likes free time to himself when not at work or home. The character he will be bringing to life is one of a loving family man and he will need to show this in the grief through the video as he has lost his family. I do believe Mr Hall’s is a perfect fit for the character.

Jessica Carey – Wife of John - Aged 18

Jessica will portray the wife of John and although only having a small part during the opening scenes of the music video they will be shown to be loving and happily married couple. I have previously used Jessica in other media production so I can personally vouch for her extremely amazing ability to act and really get into a role. Miss Carey just like Mr Hall’s hold an amazing attribute to look older than they actually do and I feel she really connotes a very maternal effect and therefore would be the perfect for this role.

Alex Hdidou- Aged 17

Tom Phillips – Aged 18

These are the actors the will be Busking in the background when filming on the Carvers parks, both actors have a previous experience with playing drum and guitar therefore I have full confidence in their lip syncing ability. Both actors own a very rugged look therefore this suits the stereotype of a busker who have nothing else to do and no other way of making money.
