1 In this version

This release contains support for new and updated file formats. There are updates for most technologies that Actix supports, with changes falling under the following categories:

New collection device support:

▫ Added support for the Anritsu LTE scanner.

▫ Added support for DingLi version 4.2.0.0, including support for Indoor log files.

▫ Added support for the PCTEL SeeGul MX LTE scanner in TEMS.

▫ Added support for the PCTel CW and UMTS scanners for DingLi.

Application layer improvements:

▫ Added support for IP in Spotlight Data Service Analysis.

▫ Updated the LTE Cluster Acceptance Report to include the recent KPIs such as CSFB, IFHO, IRAT HO, and CINR.

Platform improvements:

▫ Added new “percentile” feature to the Chart’s CDF/PDF mode.

▫ Users can deselect the Sentinel USB driver during the installation via Custom Setup.

Documentation:

▫ Documentation for Spotlight LTE KPIs has been added to the Online Help and the Spotlight User Guide.

Known issues / obsolescence:

▫ None.

2 New collection device or technology support

2.1 Anritsu support

[Case 67089] Added support for the Anritsu LTE scanner.

2.2 Ascom TEMS support

[Case 64361] The attribute “LoggingPaused” is now set whenever logging of the handset is deactivated (TEMS event).

[Case 62303] Attribute “TEMS_Serving_Cell_Id” is now set.

[Case 64086] Added support for the PCTEL SeeGul MX LTE scanner.

2.3 DingLi support

[Case 64451, 65666] Added support for DingLi version 4.2.0.0, including support for Indoor log files.

[Case 66034] Added support for PCTel CW and UMTS scanners.

[Case 62902] In GPRS, a problem has been resolved that could cause attribute RLC_Throughput_DL to be too low.

[Case 65380] In GSM, attribute ServC2I is now set.

2.4 Ericsson UETR/GPEH/LTE CT support

GPEH and UETR log files now use the preference “Load Time Message Filtering (fast)”: if this preference is enabled, then the messages not required by ActixOne analyses are discarded at load-time.

2.5 Focus Infocom support

Added support for IP packets.

2.6 Huawei CT support

[Case 67642] All Abnormal RRC fail codes decoded from PCHR are now supported.

2.7 JDSU support

JDSU log files version 16.1 (or later) containing FTP testing can now be used safely. Previously Analyzer would crash when these files were used.

[Case 66121] A problem has been resolved that could prevent Analyzer“Data Testing” attributes from being set.

2.8 Nemo support

[Case 66166] Nemo Outdoor 6: In CDMA, a problem has been resolved that could cause the attribute MobileReceivePower to be incorrect.

[Case 66527] In Dual Cell HSDPA:

▫ A problem has been resolved that could cause Primary and Secondary UARFCN to be swapped.

▫ Improvements: Uu_HSDPA_DC_Configured.

▫ Correction for HSUPA ACK and NACK rate computation:Uu_HSUPA_ACK_Rate, Uu_HSUPA_NACK_Rate, Uu_HSUPA_ACK_Rate_without_DTX and Uu_HSUPA_NACK_Rate_without_DTX

2.9 Qualcomm chipset support

[Case 66298] In LTE, it is now possible to split some key messages into individual TTIs. This new feature can be enabled, subject to a specific Qualcomm license activation.

[Case 67686] In UMTS, attribute Uu_UE_RadioLinkFailure is now set from the Qualcomm debug message 0x1FFB.

2.10 SwissQual support

[Case 65320, 65318] Attribute Event_Task_Cancelled is now set when a task is stopped due to a manual switching off of SwissQual collection tool during PS data sessions (FTP UL, FTP DL, PING or HTTP).

2.11 Generic

[Case 65581] A problem has been resolved that could occur in a specific scenario (CS Call in UMTS after a reselection LTEUMTS), and that affected the following attributes:

▫ LTE_CSFB_Call_RedirectionTime

▫ LTE_CSFB_Call_SetupTime

▫ LTE_CSFB_Call_Type

[Case 67671, 67796] New attributes have been created for reselection LTEGSM and GSMLTE:

▫ LTE_Event_CellReselection_toGSM

▫ LTE_Event_CellReselection_fromGSM

[Case 64168] The Attribute Help entry has been improved for the following attributes:

▫ LTE_Scan_RSRP_SortedBy_RSRP

▫ LTE_Scan_RSRQ_SortedBy_RSRP

3 Application layer improvements

3.1 Spotlight Data Service Analysis

Spotlight now provides statistics for the TCP layer and stateforms to visualize TCP throughput and retransmissions.

Added support for EVDO in the Data Service Analysis report.

3.2 LTE Cluster Acceptance Report

[Case 67906] LTE Cluster Acceptance Report now includes the following KPIs:

▫ CSFB events

▫ IFHO events

▫ IRAT reselection events (LTE to/from GSM)

▫ IRAT HO events

▫ CINR histograms

4 Platform improvements

4.1 Chart

The Chart can now display information of a certain percentile when in CDF/PDF mode.

4.2 Install

[Case 67243] Users can deselect the Sentinel USB driver during the installation via Custom Setup.

[Case 66782] Documentation for Spotlight LTE KPIs is now available under “Help > Contents > Spotlight data analysis > Using the Event Explorer > Spotlight event KPIs and diagnoses > LTE KPIs and diagnoses”.
