Puzzling pieces Ladies:

Puzzling Pieces has an A3 sized wooden jigsaw puzzle printed on Gloss Photo paper and cut into 16 pieces. Included in the box is a range of items that appear in the jigsaw puzzle. The items included are relevant for reminiscing from a time in the past. Puzzling Pieces can be used as a simple jigsaw puzzle or could be used to reminisce. Have your clients explain what the objects are by touching and holding them, then find it in the puzzle. What other objects are in the puzzle?

Remember picking up a stone or pebble because there was just something about it? Well, here’s a whole quarry of quirky, engaging, happy, sad, afraid, shy, joyful and just plain outrageous 'stone' characters, specially created for building a feelings vocabulary!

Describing feelings is at the heart of emotional literacy and therapeutic work. Yet, sometimes people interpret feelings very differently. Ups and Downs is a conversation-building tool featuring a naked (and very pink!) little fellow who lives the whole gamut of our emotions. Out on the water, he faces the immensity of life from an absurdly inadequate vessel, a bathtub. Ironically, it’s this very absurdity that gives the images their resonance. For when we are as naked and vulnerable as ‘Every person’, it is often then that we discover surprising strengths within ourselves.
