General information Exploring The Great Barrier Reef: No Hamilton Island experience is complete without a visit to the reef. It’s where you’ll find the Hardy Reef Pontoon and Bait Reef. With two wonderful full day tours, you have the option to snorkel or dive, take in the sights from an underwater observatory or ride the semi-submersible. You can also take a scenic helicopter flight from Hamilton Island over Whitehaven Beach landing at the wonderful Great Barrier Reef (available in both Cruise/Fly or Fly/Fly options) or a half day snorkel or dive adventure around the best local island fringing reefs.

Audio Walking Tours: Choose from two tour options; learn about the history of the island in the ‘Village Trail’ or discover the beautiful flora and fauna on the ‘Passage Peak Walk’. Tours can be downloaded onto your smartphone from the Hamilton Island App at one of the Wi-Fi hotspots at Resort Centre, Airport, Reef View Hotel, Beach Club or qualia.

Clownfish Club: The Clownfish Club is Hamilton Island’s child care centre catering for children aged 6 weeks to 14. For more info phone 4946 8941.
