5.6 Additional projects outside the centre agreement Awards The Håkan Frisinger Foundation for Transportation Research Award 2014. Margareta was nominated and given the award of 250 000 SEK. The motivation stated that the honouree has successfully managed to combine behavioural and transport research which has given a better understanding of how satisfaction with everyday travel affect the decisions and mode choice that people make. Margareta Friman has also, by external evaluators, received high qualitative reviews for her governance and management of the service and market oriented transport research group (Samot) at Karlstad University
