Property NSW delivers strategic planning across NSW public sector property assets, which improves the management of government property portfolios so they are better utilised and maintained.

Client service is our priority. We work closely with government agencies to understand their requirements, maximise value for the State and, ultimately, the people of NSW.

Our aim is to be a best practice property manager, operating on a commercial basis, with the capacity to drive reform, capital management and service delivery for the benefit of NSW.

Outsourced property and facilities management

Property NSW’s new integrated outsourced asset management contract with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) will enable government savings of close to $12m over its five year term.

NSW State Emergency Service headquarters

Property NSW secured 5,800m2 of commercial space in Wollongong for NSW State Emergency Service headquarters, to be delivered in early 2017.

Relocations to Western Sydney

Working with the Department of Education (DoE), Property NSW secured 25,000m2 of commercial office space in Parramatta to accommodate DoE staff from 2018.

Lease management and tenant services

Property NSW drives effective lease/lessor management and tenant services for over one million square metres of Net Lettable Area across the portfolio, with non-commercial assets, such as State-significant, special use assets making up a further 715,000m2.
